In the distant future, humans have made contact with several alien species. Now, an alien exploration team has called for different species to work together and explore and document uncharted galaxies and planets. You can be human, an alien, both, but not a hybrid, that would work like breeding a mountain lion and a duck.
Alien planets also have variants of the species, some of which speak different languages. Any characters should be able to speak the others language, even if it's spoken really badly

Varients: Eastern ones have sharp claws, skin color dark red. Western ones have larger, sharper, and stronger fangs, have pale blue skin. Mixes of the Varients result in both traits, but claws and fangs are smaller and more dull. (variants speak different languages)
Diets: Typically eats insects (please note insects on their planets are the size of horses, and are contained on farms)

Variants: Striped, spotted, and speckled, all speak different languages. Striped have dark gray stripes on body, Spotted have dark gray spots on their body, speckled have large blotches of dark gray on their body and face.
Diets: Carnivores, can eat any meat

Variants: Underbites and Overbites. Underbites have two large fangs going up, Overbites have two large fangs pointing downwards. There is a slight difference in language, though mistranslations could be really bad.
Diet: Carnivore
Average sizes: 6'2" tall, 200lbs
Abilities: Natural high intelligence, echolocation, flight duration of 30 minutes at a time.

Lifespan: about the same as human lifespan, 90 to 100 years. however, unlike humans, they only become frail around 8o yrs. old, their prime being around 50.
Looks: Very pale white or light tan skin. Very tall, averaging about 6'5" or taller. Typically very muscular. Males usually have no hair or very short hair, females having short hair, it being very wispy and thin and gray in color. Eyes usually red, orange or yellow. sometimes pale green. Incisors are very sharp and slightly larger than normal. very long and pointy tongue, sometimes forked. pointy ears.
Variants: Demixern--smaller and often darker gray, with forked tongues and large bat-like ears. xernatog mythology claims they were cursed hundreds of years ago, but there is no evidence to support this.
Diet: Carnivores
