Anyone else having a problem breeding? It keeps saying mine are too closely related, I've tried with numerous species, tamed and purchased from other players, and I've gone through their lineage to make sure they are not related.

if it happen with a wild pet that can be a glitch but for pet you buy from someone else it's possible that they have the same mother / father (only one of them), in those case they will not be considerate as sister and brother but will still be too closely related to breed.

I check through the lineage of the ones I bought, they were from different people and shared no common ancestors, I just figured I'd ask because it's a bit of an inconvenience...Not that I really have space to be breeding right now.

With the the pet that are set to breeding it's possible to get two pet from different owner but with the same father or mother. If they are not adult yet that can also prevent them to breeding, adolessent look like an adult would but can't breed.

I always have the breeding grounds setting to adults only with recovering excluded, and I went through to make sure they are not related in any way.

So, I went through your adult pets to see what the issue might be:

Aeridinis: all three have the same father
Lighiras: all four have the same father
Luffoxes: should have no problem since both boys are tamed
Luporas: your four have two fathers between them, so Marsh can only breed with Mia, and Alek can only breed with Maya
Puffadores: should have no problems as they are all unrelated
Vulnyxes: Carman shares a father with Fierie, but she should be able to breed with your other two males (Jared and Lucas)
Zolnixis: should have no problem. They all look to be unrelated.

Other than the ones I found to be related, you should be able to breed O.o

I dunno anymore, I was trying to breed zolnixis but I guess I will have to wait for that? Like I said, I'm in no rush, I have to get more space first anyway. X3
