Prologue:
LightClan and DarkClan are two warring clans that live in Solar Forest. LightClan lives in the northern half near the plains, DarkClan lives in the southern half near the caves. It is nearing winter and food is growing more and more scarce. It is only a matter of time before one clan will attack...

Riverheart grabbed a sparrow from the fresh kill pile for the kits and queens.

"I'm going to go out hunting, we really need it" meowed Riverheart

"That'd be a really good idea. I'll set the morning patrols. Proudfoot ate a bad vole." he meowed, casting a glance at the Medicine Den, where the DarkClan Deputy was recovering.
"Riverheart, would you like to lead a patrol?" he asked, looking at the silver she-cat.

"Sure" Riverheart nodded

"Then you will lead Blazetail, Onesky, Dawnfire, and Bluepaw" Darkstar said. The warriors and apprentices lined up, facing Riverheart.

Ashkit and Stormkit played around in the nursery. They were play fighting and soon they were practicing battle moves that were shown to them.

Emberstar grabed a vole from the fresh kill pile and went to her den.

Gingerpaw walked out of the Apprentice den and yawned.She hoped her mentor would take her hunting today.She licked her paw and drew it over her ginger-furred ears.

Frostkit bounced in the nursery "why can't I go outside of camp!?" She meowed
