i have a problem with battling with one of my pets it hits the enemy but with the other pet it doesnt attack every time

The battle system won't let you end a turn without choosing actions for all of your pets.
My guess is that they are both attacking, one is missing, or one is stunned or something.
You can verify what happens each turn by reading the battle log.

well even the health dosn't work on one of my pets

this one on only turns yellow and doesn't work with the end battle button i'm not sure this will work or help i'm trying to get the other images it might take a little while

When you select an ability, you then have to click on an enemy to select a target.
Once you do that for all pets, then you can end the turn.
