In an obscure place far away from the city, is a secluded lab, full to the brim with aisles and corridors of cats, locked up in cages. Every single day, tests and experiments are done on them.

These cats have been here their entire life. They were born here. They will die here. But, what happens when a sudden electric shutdown releases these felines from their lifelong containment in allowing them to escape out into the open world, given a new chance with life? We'll just have to find out. Many things are to be discovered and many others are to be found, all different and unique in their own way, and they'll learn about this world they've never known about, a world with grass and trees and fresh air, and water and the warm, shining sun. These cats will survive together through thin and thick, and with the help of each other, will uncover much, much more than they expected.

There are three groups of escaped cats from the lab, called 'factions'. They consist of the Northern Stride, Sun's Gleam, and Crescent Edge. Leader rank for Crescent and the Northern Stride are taken, and so is the second in command for the Stride. There is also a roleplayable group of cats in the laboratory. New factions will occasionally be created throughout the roleplay.

Also, just going to throw this out there, these cats are allowed to be a lot different than normal cats. You can make them blue, green, heck, it could even glow a little if you want them to.

Tuxedo cat with orange eyes, scottie. She has a short tail and light grey spots on her back. She has a limb that appears lost, but has a stable robot paw for support, this is her back right leg.

She is an avid learner, and a quick one too. She is agile and notices small details. However when she speaks, it is rough and sharp and she has a fat mouth.
She likes sailboats, and has only heard of the sea, which she hopes to explore one day. She likes to eat squirrels and she loves nuts. Apparently she hates bees and wasps, and strangely hates the color yellow, and also hates her scratchy fur.

Looks: Samantha is a small and white, with canary yellow paws and underbelly. She has a stripe of the same color on her back that also goes down her tail. Her eyes are electric blue, and her fur is littered with some sorts of burn marks from electric shocks.

Extra: Samantha undergoes a sort of intelligence test most of the time. It's a small machine where she simply sets the glass part of her lightbulb pendant into the correct dent as instructed to her on a little box. It senses the pressure stop it and in return, gives her her meal for the rest of the day.

I don't mind bright colors, it gives me issues, so gonna stick with traditional.
