Howdy,
Not certain if it's an Easter Egg or a glitch in the programming. But I was working tasks in Astry's Vale and opted to wait until I could do all of the tasks for Astryl's Tranquility at once before starting the tasks. When I finished and returned to Ethernia, instead of finding my Trusted bar going up 125 points to about 4,300/6,000,.. It reads Allied 9,000/9,000.
Thought I should bring it to your attention. Since I was planning to store up tasks to do them all at once in the future anyway.

No, the reputation shouldn't jump up like that.
This information I don't believe is tracked. Do you know exactly what you did that triggered it?

I'll give the best specifics I can. At about 07:55 am I set up the two Astryl's Tranquility Tasks (Destructive Locals II and Clearing Debris). But since I was so close to the turning over of the hour I decided to Go into Umbra Forest, update missions at the Barracks, then selected the five quests there, knowing I would get to them later in the day. Then around 08:02 am I went back to Ethernia and noticed that the other Astryl's Trannquility task (Rare Research) was also available, so I selected it in order to cover all three in one trip through Astryl's Tranquility. I accomplished them, and collected all of the items and vanquished the mini-bosses to maximize the reputation from the one trip, so I was expecting it to only jump about 125 reputation points.
When I saw it took it all the way to 9,000 and Allied, I checked my wife's account to see if this was a site change or just a glitch with my account. She went to work today and asked if I would check on her account periodically for her mission pets, so it was open. Hers had not made a leap like that, so I decided post this thread to inform you of what happened.
Hope you can replicate the fault.

I honestly have no idea.
The amount of faction rewarded should be static. I also can't think of a reason why this would happen randomly - it seems like something that should either happen to everyone or to no one.
Also, like I said, there is no tracker for faction earned so I can't look anything up in the database.
I guess you can just go ahead and enjoy the maxed reputation. =P
Thank you for posting this issue and if anyone else runs into the same issue, please let me know.

So far nobody else has that I've communicated with on the site. For now I'd prefer to keep the particulars of what happened under wraps. But sure, if somebody else says something similar, I'll be happy to message them and find similarity and differences to help troubleshoot the problem.

If you (or others) attempt to duplicate an exploit with the purpose of explicitly informing us of how it works so that we can fix it - I am fine with that.
Obviously though, taking advantage of an exploit to benefit yourself/others would violate the Terms of Service.
But we have no issue with players just legitimately trying to figure out a bug so that we can fix it.

I'm glad to know that.
Lending one last question. Shouldn't you delete this thread?

No. If anyone else has a similar issue or anything to add, I'd like them to have the opportunity to do so.
