This may be a little stupid, but what's AP?
Also how might one get trait points?

AP is advancement points. You get them when you advance the story, win battles and nurture pets. You can use them to buy things for your avatar like facial features, hair styles and basically anything but Items. Once you get 10k AP you can hire a stable hand to feed your pets everyday. As for trait points, are you talking about the trait points for a sylesti?

the TP or trait points cant be buy / add, you can add a mutation on a wild pet with a mutator but the TP are only there to calculate the nomber of trait visible and carry a pet can have.

The only way to get a pet with TP not already distributed is when you get a pre-revemp pet, those are often totaly resseted. The nomber of TP and the changement you can do on it are in green in the information ( Advenced Shearch) or directely under the pet (in the profil).

Generated a pet can also be considerated as a pet with TP but if you generate him before giving him any it will stay blank and that's all.


Some trait can't be generated or regenerated, if they were created after the revamp (for pre-revemp pet only) or if they are in red (unless they had it before behing resetted).
