So I typed up a story in Word 2007, and transferred it over here (https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=41719). When I did, it deleted several characters. The thing is, none of them were letters. Among the deleted were commas, apostrophes, quotation marks, and ellipses. While I did go back and manually replace all that I could find were missing, it was very annoying.
On top of that, there's a glitch with the replaced quotation marks. Marks at the end of a line (most noticeable on paragraphs) will randomly drop to the line below. I've been able to fix that by manually replacing them for the first two chapters, but the third, when I edit it, still won't fix. I've tried editing it several times to fix it, and it always resets the quotation marks to the line below.
Please investigate! Going through to fix everything takes forever!

@Nyllei,
Hmm, that should be from something on Word 2007's end, not Sylestia's.
For fixes, try:
Method 1 - When pasting, use the option for Paste & Match Style a.k.a. Paste As Plain Text e.g. for what I mean
Method 2 - Pasting your word-doc into an un-formated text-file first. (Extension .txt). Then copying the text from the .txt file into Sylestia. Or saving your word-doc into a new plain text file if that is an option.

Our posting forms do not offer any support from 3rd party programs.
So when you are copying things from other places to paste and post here, we can't guarantee that it will work correctly.
There are just hundreds of various programs and combinations that it would be impossible for us to somehow debug and figure out.
As Tap suggested, in the future, try copying as plain text or using something like Notepad instead. My guess is that you copied Word's specific formatting which obviously would not be compatible for Sylestia. Thus, when you posted it, Sylestia dropped the formatting / special characters.
