A while ago, a company of scientists were making final changes to a type of creature that had a crest of feathers and a lion's muzzle. They had big muzzles and came in shades of a peacock. They were trying to make artificial flight and they used bat wings. The tails were that of a birds for guiding flight.
They had huge pawpads for landing and absorbing shock.
They did this by alternating an embryo. It took much work.
As they achieved their goal after many tries and funding, they took most of the successful ones, but left a lot of successful ones too. They released all of them into the city.
