Earth is slowly, but surely becoming a frozen wasteland. Humans have died off, unable to handle the cold. Without the humans, animals are free to do as they please. However, there isn't a whole lot else they can do when they're fighting to survive. Animals are forced to band together in groups to get to warmer climates. Most often the groups are comprised of herbivores or carnivores, but there are always those that don't quite fit the mold. The three main groups in Canada are Ragingfang (carnivores), Swiftfoot (herbivores), and Unity (mixed).

Personality: Very polite, and generally laidback, but can be very stern if he believes something clashes with his beliefs of what's morally right and wrong. He's usually patient, though he has pet peeves that can set him off very quickly.
Skills: Dusk is just as quick with his brain as he is on his feet. He is very strategic in planning and talking aggressive people down. He's a talented orator and can gather peoples' attention fairly easily. He's a fairly good hunter due to plenty of experience and knows many tips and tricks.
Flaws: He doesn't know all that much about medicine. He knows what can sooth a stomachache or make you puke and that's about it.
Appearance: He's a tall, broad-shouldered tom with a mainly white and black-spotted coat typical of his species. His tail is about three-fourths the length of his lean body and his fur is very thick and soft. His face is heart-shaped, furry cheeks and topped with black-lined, rounded, triangular ears. His eyes are a soft aqua that hold an ironic fire-like passion.

Personality: she is a bit stubborn, though she holds it back well. She is loyal friend and puts their life above her own.
Skills: Excellent hearing and smell, good (two colour) vision. Often appear to 'pant' - this is to draw air over the organ in the roof of the mouth that 'tastes' smells to amplify her usefulness.
Flaws: She HATES water and freezes up when she gets near it even if it is ice. She also holds and irrational fear of heights.

Other: Chara loves all life and will risk it all to save anyone.
