The land has been shrouded in cold for years, due to some sort of chemical mishap. Humans froze and only the strong or mutated survived. The whole world seems to be infected with radiation and chemicals. Nothing is clean. Again, only the strong or adapted creatures survive in this icy apocalypse. Ghosts seem to be able to achieve corporeal form. Corpses are also re-animated time-to-time on account of the nuclear waste that might seep into their frozen graves.

Age: 35 years (middle age for his species)

Personality: Jack is a very observant soul, having spent all his time in the wintry mountains alone collecting snowflakes as he pleased. Now that the whole world is snow he takes joy in traveling round meeting friends. He is cold at first (ha) but can warm up to people
Voice: his voice is soft and rumbling like a constant purr. If you aren't listening you'll miss it
Mutations: wings, ice like armor covering his body, and a pair of horns a top his head. He has large paws to stay on top of the snow, and long fluffy fur to keep warm.

Personality: As she is Emma is a cranky bear, having to end her hibernation in order to survive. She has a fiery temper and an attitude to match it. She does like the cold and has a tendency to tell the world.
Voice: gravely, a constant growl is her voice
Mutations: Frozen droplets of water floats around her at all times annoying her. Her claws are now super long in order to dig into the snow. She is also larger than most bears, about the size of a polar bear with fur nearly two inches long. Her legs are longer as well to get better leverage while running along the snow.

Personality: Extremly hostile, but also sad and shaky. Just wants to fix the planet. Is also somewhat diabolical even though she's nice once you gain her trust.
Manner of Speaking/Voice: Slight german accent, a hint of brittleness (sounds like she's about to cry), but also gruff.

Mutations/Adaptations(If any): Has scale like armour on face and under fur on body, has wings but they are ripped and missing feathers, so they can't do much, maybe some gliding.
