Ok I'm not sure if this is the correct place for it but I do have a few questions...

When I am in search and you are looking at the pets genetics I have noticed that the genes are different colors..Green, Blue and Purple - What do they each mean?

Also, I've seen mentioned that there are hidden traits. Is there a way to find out these traits? Do the traits hide behind other traits... (for ex: Zolnixie that has (M1 Slot) banded stripes and caries paint)? If they do, is that what is meant by hidden traits or are they two different things?

Going kinda from the previous question... are the genes dominant and recessive? If they are I'm going to guess, that it the most dominant is the oldest gene and the most recessive is the newest gene listed in any given slot...

Is there a guide about stat breeding? I seen a lot mentioned about max stat projects, but I have not found the information on what the max stat are ... I feel like the info is there but I'm looking in the wrong places..

I'm sure this is clear as mud... but I hope you all can help me with these... as I have not seen much about how the genetics work on here... or just have not found the correct guides..

The colors in advanced search DO have meanings!
Green = carried trait
Blue = visible trait
Purple = Visible trait with hidden carry

You're exactly right about the hidden traits - they are carried traits that are hiding underneath visibles. To know a pets hidden traits, they must be genetically tested - you can see them on the advanced search. The letters in front of the trait name tell you which traits they are. So your zolnixi example would say: (AC) Banded Stripes.

You can also see hidden traits in the pet's image code - look for the portion of the url where it says "&gd1=...&gd2=..." etc - those are the pet's trait slots, and the letters correspond to their traits. Your zolnixi example would look like this: "...&gd1=AC&gd2=NN..." Keep in mind that sometimes, NN means "no traits," and sometimes a blank trait slot if denoted by "00."

The traits are in fact dominant and recessive, you're exactly right! It's alphabetical, oldest to newest, just like you said. :)
