Do you get to select the gender of the future offspring when you breed your pets? I know when you go to the breeding grounds, you select the pair you want to breed and then where you test breed it gives you the option to preview what their baby will look like, male or female. If I leave the bubble filled in as male and breed them, will the offspring be a male? I'm curious because my daughter plays too and has mentioned when she test breeds, if she leaves it bubbled in as female for the preview and breeds them, the offspring has been a girl, and when she's left it bubbled in as male it's been a boy. Is this simply a coincidence or do you get to choose?

You don't get to choose :)
But the chances are higher if you 'choose' the gender that way though (i think)
