I've just discovered that you can feed your pets. How does this work? Will your pets die if you don't feed them? Does feeding them improve their stats?

Every day at midnight site time your sylesti lose a feeding point and get hungrier. You have to click where it says feed pets. If you don't feed them, after 10 days they will pass out. They can be revived when fed. And no, it doesn't improve their stats, just keeps them conscious. Eventually you will be able to hire a stablehand to automatically feed your sylesti every night, you just have to get 10,000 AP, or advancement points.
