I saw this site mentioned in a thread on Furvilla and ugh I'm so addicted already. The pets are cute and getting amazing reworks and there's so much to do and see. Other than the avatars (their bodies are wobbly and after doing edits/working for avatar sites it just irks me lol) this place is simply amazing.
I would love the essence and gold.
I can absolutely do that. That's actually what a few of my samples are from my shop over there. Just let me know what dragons and what features you would like and if there's a specific pose you would like.

For this girl, I picture her having long, roughly waist length hair that is black with blue highlights. And with a feather or two braided in. Outfit wise, a simple dark brown tank and whatever you want to include apparel wise that she has on. Dragon features I leave up to you to pick which you want to draw?

Personality-wise, she's the tom-boyish sort so a smile/smirk would be awesome. For pose, maybe one with the dove perched on a finger/hand or just simply a "sassy hand on the hip" kind of pose (sorry, I didn't know how else to phrase that, lol). Again, whatever you're comfortable with. :Db

Hopefully everything is alright, I'm not the best at describing what I usually picture in my head. xD

Also, for the gold amount, how much would you like and would you like the essence + payment upfront? ^^

I just adore that there's no limit on pets. If you have the means, you can have more and more. I hoard cute things so bad.
Would you like her hair straight, wavy, curly? Worn in a single long braid or loose with a couple smaller braids hanging down? Hmmm.... would you like the shoulder cloak/long cloak or like a sash/side skirt/regular skirt held up by the belt with some of the see through wispy stuff hanging down? I can do holding staff and the bird landing on finger; I can also do the hand on hip pose and perch the bird on her staff?
The forums are very slow and I'm exceptionally new still, so I have no idea what a good gold price would be. Especially after deducting the cost of the essence.
I generally wait until the art is completed to accept payment honestly. I feel it's easier for the customer to decide what they want to pay after seeing exactly what it is that they're paying for. I also feel less pressured/less likely to procrastinate trying to get it perfect for the price because it's paid for after and no one is disappointed.

It's become a bad habit of mine to hoard pets even if they're not my favorite species, but they'll have a pretty trait so then I just have to keep it. xD

Hmm, wavy with smaller braids hanging down would be good for her hair. I have to honestly say though, I hadn't thought about what to do for the cloak (I only ever get to about bust level when sketching out my ideas >v<), but I do like this "regular skirt held up by the belt with some of the see through wispy stuff hanging down". For pose, hand on hip with the bird perching on the staff please? ^^



If you don't mind looking at other user's conversions, Mew has one and Sciger has one from FR to Sylestia (so if you want to compare to what you would charge on FR) that a couple other users (Coda for ex) have used.

Regardless, you're free to choose your own rates/conversions. :)

Some of the conversions are a little wonky tbh?? x - x $1 = 15 diamonds when the site its self is $1 = 100 diamonds??
And if I use the 1 diamond = 2,500 gold, prices would end up being minimums of 1,250,000-2,500,000 and that just seems like ridiculous prices to me. (unless it's gaia where i auction art to the billions)
But the 1 FR treasure = 2 gold would put minimums around 100k-200k, which seems a bit better? Though I may look for a middle ground somewhere since that's a really big gap. x = x I don't want to rip anyone off but I also don't really know how easy it is to make/stockpile gold here since I just joined.
Would it be reasonable to put this around the 300k-500k ballpark depending on complexity and how finished it looks where stuff between this and this and this would be the one closer to the 200k range? The first one is pay what you want with a minimum of $10 while the other ones are pay what you want with a minimum of $5 on the first one and the other two are $20 flat prices.

Also! Mew's store reminds me that I still have the Shimeji base file. Would there be any interest you think?

I've got 500 something pets on here (and running out of space! D:), but it's a very tiny collection compared to other users.

And don't worry about it ^^ I'd still love to see what you do come up with, I just hope you enjoy yourself. I wouldn't want you to worry about me being disappointed~

I'm not too good at these things, so I'm not sure how those conversions would work out, but with your quality of art, you could definitely ask for those prices you listed. Wouldn't want to see you get ripped off either. Maybe another user will comment on here and see if they have any recommendations? ^^;

I will say though, once you have made it through the available content so far in the game, if you put pets on missions often, it is fairly easy (imo) to earn gold. Using myself as an example, I can get around around 75k-100k a day or so just by doing missions. It's so easy to spend it all though, lol, my profile says I've made 55 mil so far, but I sure don't have that much now. But again, it depends on the person playing how much they earn each day/week/etc.

I'm not exactly sure what a Shimeji is, so I can't say anything about it. :'D

I will probably get that way before the year is out.

ugh, they're so cute I can't handle them. It's a small java program that you launch from it's program and it interacts with your desktop. There's animations for walking, sitting, climbing, being picked up, falling/being thrown, etc. They can walk/sit/climb the sides of the screen, the task bar at the bottom, and along your windows. There's even a 'mean' version that will actually grab your window and throw it out of the screen. (It's not closed or deleted! There is a very easy key command to bring the window back.) They also MULTIPLY randomly.
The thing is just drawing the art for all the animation frames.

I'm a sucker for chibi styles, but perhaps the experimental for this particular girl? :)

And I'm sure you'll get the hang of values soon! I remember feeling the same when I first joined FR as well. It was so hard at first to make treasure aha. xD And yup that's fine with me, 300k-500k right?

Aww, that sounds so adorable, even the one that throws out the window lol. It does sound like a lot of work though, drawing all the art for all the frames.
