"My name...my name has been long forgotten, lost in the abyss of time itself. Not even I remember it. That's not important now though, you must listen. You have every right to not trust me, though I tell you it's not wise to let this warning go unnoticed. You have to escape, you have to try and get out no matter what they do to you you have to fight on." The boy said to you and the others through the sort of telepathic dream. You wake with a start, cold sweat dripping down your neck. It was day three that you had been a prisoner here, in this hellish facility that you were sent to. "Wondering why you are here? Can't you tell your different, you aren't like the normal humans. You may have a skill you particularly good at such as painting pictures that come to life, or being able to hold your breath under water for over an hour, though you could have something more complex like the ability to speak to others through their dreams thought just like I can, then again you could be able to control the forces of fire or ice and make it do your bidding. Your power is your own, though be warned they all come with a side affect if you will, something that dampers how you use them. Use these powers to escape from this place. You must escape from ANOR." The dream ends leaving you alone in the dark with no clue what is happening.

ANOR is a facility that deals with the human that aren't quiet normal. These people have either powers or abilities not normal to man kind, and must be eliminated from society. This facility gives them a safe place to stay away from human interaction. Our security is the best on the planet, after all we are a government facility. There are cameras on every corner in the halls and in all the rooms along with auto locking doors. Let's not forget that the stairs and elevator both need a keycard to operate/open. Every cell is made of titanium, making escape impossible if you want to burrow through a wall. Our staff is highly trained and will neutralize any escaped person on site. The facility is also fully submerged under the ocean to prevent the public from interfering with the research, so don't think you can just walk away once you are free.
Cells:
Each cell is padded, and has a bed covered in white sheets. A camera is constantly rolling, and an intercom is used to communicate with the person inside. There is a toilet in the corner, along with a sink that water runs from for only 15 seconds ever ten minutes, so don't think about drowning yourself (the toilet won't work either, it's gravity operated so not need for water). There is a desk near the bed, though it is built into the floor. The door is on the opposite side of the room from the bed, and locks from the inside. It also has no knob on the inside, though it can take a keycard to open.
Floors:
Lobby: where you sign in and get checked in.
Floor 1: this floor holds the strange house hold items. (A flying toaster, a self serving fork, stuff like that.) low security
Floor 2: this floor houses the non dangerous animals. (Like a turtle that speaks, or a dog that can run at the speed of light.) low security
Floor 3: cafeteria (serves all the food to the rooms.) low security
Floor 4: offices (where the interns work, and the bosses do their job) medium security
Floor 5: operating rooms (where they 'treat' the patients) high security
Floor 6: for those whom need to be watched a little closer. (A person that can speak to animals, a cat that can breath fire, exc.) medium security
Floor 7: those that need high security live here (elemental humans, invisibility users, and so on.) high security
Floor 8: same a floor seven. High security
Floor 9: dangerous animals rule this floor (a tiger with a poisonous bite, or an animal that has the ability to control minds, something like that) high security
Floor 10: saved for those that can be allowed to see other humans (mind readers go here, or equal people) very high security
Restricted Zone: this floor is reserved for those that can't be harmed, or those that are hostile. The worst of the worst live here. (Please don't make a character for this floor.) maximum security
Plot:
The one they call Dreamer escapes, your job is to survive long enough to get out. You can go alone or with others. Dreamer is a person with the ability to infiltrate dreams and control what you see inside of them. He kills you with your worst nightmares, and can put you to sleep with a simple glance. He is extremely dangerous and very sneaky.

Alright I'm finished now! Yay! |
(Might want to put an Appearance and Personality section in the form. I added them to mine.)
Name: Virginia Pleasant
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Cell number: 715 (Going off how I see room numbers usually)
Floor number: Floor 7
Patient number: 1966
Power/special abilities:
Virginia is a weremoth, specifically a European Death's Head Hawkmoth. She can fly in this state, has enhanced strength (By her standards), a decently hard exoskeleton (nowhere near bulletproof though), and she can shed scales on her body to create a sort of dust cloud to irritate other's eyes.
Side effect of using power:
Virginia has to be in a peaceful situation in order to have control. Also, while she is a bit more menacing, whether she's in control or not, her weremoth form is made more for escape than hunting down foes. She's much weaker and less durable than the more popular predatory werebeasts, making her much easier to take down. She also isn't hostile unless backed into a corner, meaning that when not in control, she can easily be lured into her cell as long as those luring her don't come off as a threat. While she may no longer be able to tell the time a day based on a clock, her instinct is never wrong, and she knows when it's nightfall. Problem is, this generally is more of an instantaneous thing rather than a gradual feeling, meaning if she's in a stressful situation, she will transform with little to no control.
Appearance:
Human:
In human form, most find it surprising that a strong gust of wind doesnt blow her away, mostly because dainty is a very accurate way of describing her. She is pale and thin, standing about 54, but she strangely has some muscle on her. Her thinness comes from her familys situation in the past, but it never bothered her. Her hair is waist length and appears to be a mix of blond and brown, with some parts having patches of one color mixed in with the other. She holds this hair in high regard, and to protect it, she wears it in a braid most of the time. In formal situations, she wears it down, which sadly, happens more than she wants it because of her current situation. Her eyes are hazel, though it is also patchy in places, where blue and brown stick out more than other parts of her eyes. Her eyebrows are thin and pale to the point of almost being white. Her skin, while pale, seems to almost glow with a grey-yellow color, likely from the hair on her arms (which is something that shell talk about strangely enough), but the strangest feature she has is likely her longer than average tongue, which is actually not linked to her werebeast animal, but rather a genetic trait passed through her family.
Being used to dresses, Virginias first pick of clothing is often a dress or a dress shirt and shorts in mostly muted colors. She prefers grayscale colors, as well as darker greens and about any shade of brown, though on special occasions she will wear a pastel colored dress instead. She wears equally plain shoes, preferably flats. When it comes to working around an area or going somewhere outdoors, she will wear one of her more worn down dresses or skirt and shirt outfits with a pair of boots. Most of this attire she used to wear has been replaced by whatever ANOR dares to give her.
Weremoth:
In her weremoth form, Virginia doesnt actually appear to feminine, and can hardly be seen as a female. Her body, other than the fact it turns into a hard exoskeleton (albeit soft when she compared it to other wereinsects), is covered in a dense coat of fur which can shed to create a dust cloud of sorts when trying to escape a foe. This fur is dense on the upper half of her body, but grows less dense as it goes lower down her body. The color of Virginias body in this state transitions from brown around her head to a golden yellow on the lower half of her body. She has short antennas which skew her normal hearing, her eyes are pitch black and slightly larger than a normal humans, and her mouth is covered with insect mandibles, which cover her teeth and hide her proboscis-like tongue. Her head is actually fairly immobile, as she has a hood (think of a cobra hood) connecting her head and body. While she can turn her head slightly, its nowhere near as good as a normal humans mobility.
Her body is much, much bulkier than Virginia herself is. While not muscular because moths dont really have muscles, she looks the part in some sense, looking much more menacing than she really is. The fuzzy moth scales appear in a large bundle around her chest, and where it ends reveals a golden underbelly. On her back, the scale color shifts more gradually, but there is also the signature skull marking on her back as well. Her wings seem to sprout from the edges of this skull, the top pair being dark brown and the lower pair being gold with brown flecks.
She does have three pairs of limbs like a moth as well. Her extra pair of arms sprout below her already existing ones. The limbs are covered in a much harder carapace than the rest of her body, and the carapace covers most of where her hands are. What could be called her hands are four, soft, clawed fingers, one acting as a thumb, which are much softer than the rest of her body, often only being used to grasp things or other dexterous tasks. When not being used, they are hidden under the carapace. Her feet lack this trait, instead having claws for gripping. She also has a striped abdomen, mostly for balance while flying.
Despite the bulk that Virginia gains from this transformation, she doesnt gain as much height as one would expect. She stands around 68 in this form, mostly from her legs increasing in length to prevent her abdomen from dragging on the ground. She also still has a relatively humanoid frame despite the many changes. Also, while Virginia would describe the form as bulky, thats by her standards, which for her being a twig, means that she may get peoples hopes up for nothing spectacular in terms of strength. Sure, she can still lift heavy objects, but shes no werewolf or other predatory werebeast, and if any were left, it would be quite obvious should she meet one. Instead, her form is meant to be mobile, by being able to fly and be fast while doing so, as well as climb surfaces that may be hard for other werebeasts without damaging the object theyre climbing.
Personality:
Virginia is both incredibly energetic, but also shy around most new things. That being said, if the new thing isnt a person, shes likely to touch it upon seeing it for the first time. Depending on how she views the thing after shes touched it, Virginia may hate it to the point where she tries everything in her power to never see or interact with it again, she may show disinterest, or, in the other extreme, flat out steal the object, often later on that night in her other form.
Virginia also has a knack for not picking sides, often being highly fickle about what to do. She often joins a group or makes friends because of their general niceness or good intentions, but when the goal they want to have involves things she wouldnt dare do, she often abandons them. The exception to this is stealing, as she often does this herself, and while she knows its bad, its the only thing she feels can be both bad and good, if given an explanation as to why.
When around those she likes, her energy often is contagious, and she rarely tries to look on the bad side of things, despite the situation she now finds herself in. This is further emphasized by the fact shes obsessed with anything sweet, especially honey. This is because of the specific moth she is, as she would steal honey from beehives when in her werebeast state when she was younger without risking harm. Most actually would call her sweet to be funny as well, but it is mostly true, as she never really tries to be violent, and the closest to violent she gets is in her night form, and even if she isnt in control, she has to be provoked before she attacks.
Another aspect of Virginia is that while fairly independent, Virginia isnt very outspoken. This is further shown when around those who imprisoned her, as she rarely speaks her mind outside of her cell, and when in a conversation (such as one about escape for example) she generally won't speak her opinion unless someone directly asks for it.
Backstory:
Before being captured by ANOR, Virginia's family struggled keeping a stable income. With her mom's side of the family trying to keep an old tradition alive in making everyone in it a weremoth, it was a miracle that Virginia and her sister were born, since the person their mother would marry would have to be okay with becoming a weremoth themselves. When Virginia was younger, her mother was a stay at home mom so that she could keep an eye on her children, especially at night, while her father worked a day shift. Due to obvious reasons, neither of her parents could work night shifts without being caught. Eventually, when Virginia was old enough, her mother took up a part-time job, but even then, the family struggled. Virginia eventually took to stealing some items she found, often produce. However, her struggles became worse when someone had tracked her sister's movements as a weremoth one night, and contacted authorities. Not soon after, ANOR captured Virginia and her sister, and killed her parents when they tried to protect them. Virginia can't quite handle her situation, and has just kinda accepted it currently.
Family?:
Her younger sister is in a similar cell situation, sharing Virginia's ability to turn into a weremoth. Her parents, however, are dead.
Name: Ash Hemingsworth
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Cell number: 781 (Same reasoning as first form)
Floor number: Floor 7
Patient number: 444
Power/special abilities:
Ash has a form of Emotopathy, which takes form in when he moves certain parts of his body a certain way, or when he looks directly at someone. In rare cases with someone with a weak will, he can use his voice as well. The specific emotion his evokes is one of displeasure, uneasiness, and fear. He uses this to appear as a threat or something those around him should fear.
Side effect of using power:
Ash's power is less powerful on those with stronger wills. It also can work against him, as it can affect him in the instance he finds himself face to face with a mirror on a bad day. His power also requires him to see his subject, as he has no clue if his ability is working without a visual. It also generally works best on a lone subject, as it can be hard for multiple subjects to fall victim at the same time.
Appearance:
Ash is clearly some sort of powered human just in appearance alone. His skin is covered in dark grey, black, and red swirls which can be uneasy to look at to begin with. Any skin not covered in the markings is a pale, almost white color, making the markings stand out even more, especially in the cell he's in. He has short, rough, almost white hair that always appears to be a mess. His eyes are a dark brown, almost black color and are often kept in a generally menacing gaze. He has various scars from his past before being captured, the most notable being a branding on his back that forms the strange symbol of the cult that put it on him. Due to his previous conditions, the clothes he was in when captured were torn and covered in bloodstains from old injuries.
Personality:
Ash is used to being cocky and in control when alone with someone. He generally aims to be the dominant one in a pair, at least physically. He isn't exactly book-smart, but he does know how to handle certain situations using what he learned on the streets. He knows when someone has fallen under the control of his power, and quickly shifts to a more sinister harsh tone to scare the victim. He isn't overly violent though, due to his relatively weak body.
When around a larger group though, Ash keeps his distance. He knows his powers don't work as well in those scenarios, so he tries not to act recklessly. He's learned that stupid moves like that gets him in trouble. He's overly cautious then, rarely taking risks. At least physically visible ones. He isn't afraid to join a conversation with others thinking the same way he is, and it can be nearly impossible to force secrets out of him. With the life he's lived, little can get him to speak of such things.
Backstory:
Ash was a freak to others around him when he was younger. While no one including him knew of his powers at the time, his appearance alone left others constantly trying to avoid him. Everyone thought of it as a sort of skin condition, so it never got the authority's attention as much as it did later on, and he found it easy to hide a majority of it under jeans and long sleeves. However, when he did find out of his abilities, he began to fear what may happen to him and didn't even trust his parents with keeping it a secret. He left his household at 15, and learned to live on the streets. When he thought his situation couldn't get any worse however, he attempted to scare the wrong person into giving him money, and soon found himself a central figure of a cult. Believed to be some sort of reincarnation of a demon or monster (He didn't care enough to remember), he was branded as a member and worshiped. He was barely a part of it for a week when he fled, and was soon on the streets again. It didn't take long for the authority's to capture him afterwards, the cult members telling them about the kind of monster he was and what he could do.
Family?:
He thinks his family might still be alive, but with what he is, he doesn't believe he'll truly be accepted back in.
(I re-read the intro and saw the third day thing, so I had to fix my first form after it was finished. If I missed anything that reads as though my first character has been there a while, let me know so I can fix it. Oh, and if the first character needs changed or isn't approved, also let me know. I didn't quite know if something like that was allowed. I hope I placed my second character correctly as well, since I'm unsure if he could go on Floor 6. This is mainly because he just needs to not be able to see to not be a threat. Also, he's more psychologically dangerous than physically.) |
