Changelings are in most sense human, but they possess the ability to change their form into that of a dragon, who's appearance matches that of their soul. Their world has been a peaceful place to live for millennia, but, in resent years, invaders have begun to take land from them. All of the Changelings have either integrated themselves into the invaders society, or have run and hid in the fees lands that the invaders haven't taken. However, in this time of need and hopelessness, Rasul the wise, had received a prophecy known to all Changelings as the Prophecy of Deliverance.
Born in the fifth before,
A hero to cease this storm,
Seventeen years from the beginning,
It will end,
On a night of eerie silence,
When a blaze runs across a sky,
Carrying the one with a great chance,
The one that will rise high,
To replace the evil atop the throne,
This hero, forever unknown,
Until torn from the land, at last,
Is this ceaseless scorn, forever past.
It has now been nearly sixteen years and six Changlings have been found who were born fives years before the first invasion. The six have now been brought together, but who is the hero and rightful ruler?

And done! ^^ I might edit it some as we go/before we start. So I'm going to make a blank post under this for my characters and I'd think it be good if you posted one under that with your characters that way we can easily find them if we have to stop for a bit and need a refresher on them when we come back. Also that way we could edit add some other minor characters if we want to.

My characters aren't dressed like they are in the images I have. I'm thinking we're going to be right near the end of the Middle Ages.

The six stand in a circle before Rasul, alternating in gender. "With one of you six," Rasul began, "Rests the hope of our world. In a year's time we will discover which of you is our rightful ruler." He said turning speaking to each of them. Rasul knew that this was the first time most of them met, pausing at the twins with his thoughts. "You will all grow together in this year as you teach each other your own special skills. Combat, stealth, slight of hand." He paused for a moment. "I know you were expecting me to teach you all, but I have been betrayed and being near me would put you in undue danger." He moved towards the door his walking stick making a thumping noise as he did. He turned back around glancing at the six in turn. "Remember you are both stronger and safer together. Trust in each other will be key to your success." And with that he left the six to become acquainted with each other, all but two perfect strangers.

Althea looked around at the people around her. She had only seen one of them, other than her brother, Monty. However, she didn't know his name. She only recognized that she'd seen him before by the hat and bag he wore. As she wondered about each of the people before her, she felt a presence move up close behind her. She already knew it was Monty, him being overprotective of her.

The blonde guy was bold enough to spark up a conversation with the group. "Hello everyone, I'm Fen. It's a pleasure to meet you!" His introduction was only met with and awkward silence though.

James smiled at Fen reaching a hand out to shake his. "Hello Fen, I'm Jim." He said almost wanting to laugh at how they were so close to rhyming. He looked around at the others wondering what their names were. Everyone looked so different, he knew they were all the same age but most of them seemed younger. "So, I guess we're stuck with each other for the next year..." He said filling some of the silence.

Luna looked around at her peers for the first time paying attention to detail. She sighed lightly when she noticed she was the shortest one. Again! All her siblings were like Giants to her, even her sisters. She was slightly relieved when the tallest guy in the room moved from standing next to her. At least now she didn't seem quite as short. When James spoke again she snorted a little. "Yeah, we kind of are, I'm Luna." She said not moving at all except a slight shift of her weight to get more comfortable.

Sayen watched the others quietly moving into the shadows of the room. She didn't like speaking unless she had to speak. She believed that anyone's actions spoke for them more than their words. It is after all harder to lie with actions than words.

Althea's sharp eye caught the girl across the room back into a darker place, but decided not to talk to her. Being the unsocial person she was, she looked up at Monty expectantly, waiting for him to introduce themselves. Monty looked down at her and sighed. "Hi everyone, I'm Monty, and this is my sister Althea." He spoke, adding a formal smile while Althea waved her hand with a small movement. "It'll be nice working with you. What are all your specialties?" Althea said quietly. "I'm good with a dagger and pickpocketing. Althea here is a long range sniper (with a bow if guns aren't invented)" Monty added.

As Fen bobbed his head, he shook James' hand with a friendly smile. In his head, he thought of how peculiar they all were. As he heard Althea, he replied, "Umm, let's see... I'm a warrior, so swords are my thing. Do any of you work with any blades?"

Sayen leaned forward her beads making a noise only she could her. "I have my spear." She said in a deeper voice than one might think, slightly raspy as if from not using it for a long time. "And I am skilled with secrecy and stealth." She added raising an eyebrow at Fen. He was too... Happy about all of this.

James smiled looking at each in turn as they spoke. He looked at Luna wondering if she was going to speak or not. After a few noticeable moments he turned back to the others. "I'm an inventor And strategist" He said shrugging a little, he knew it wasn't exactly interesting but those were his skills.

Luna raised an eyebrow. She couldn't help but think of how she'd like to have a skill like their's. Something cool sounding. "I'm small and am good at... not being noticed." She said shrugging. "So yeah. I don't have anything else but I was born on the right week." She said shaking her head not looking at anyone. "I probably shouldn't be here..." She muttered under her breath where no one should have heard. "We are all meant to be here. If any one of us were not here, it might doom everyone." Luna snapped her head up blushing a bit that she was heard. The words had come from the woman with the deep voice in the shadows. "Rasul spoke the truth, we are stronger together than apart." She continued looking like she dared anyone to contradict her.

Althea smiled at the thought of the small rag-tag team they had and the potential of the combinations, not really knowing what to say - not that she would say it anyway- She started to hum quietly.

Monty moved away from Althea to get a closer look at their new compaions. As soon as Althea was separated from her brother, she moved up to James and bombarded him with questions about inventing. She had heard about inventors and the crazy things they made, and had since been fascinated with the idea of being able to know how to make things. "How do you know what you're gonna make? Is it hard finding the right parts? What kinds of thing have you made? Is it fun to invent? How do you-" She stopped with a stern stare from her brother.

"She is right, Luna! If we work together, we can do this. Whatever we're doing that is..." Fen said with a chuckle.

(Rasul left and Sayen hasn't told anyone her name yet. :3 so here's some that work around that ^^)

James smiled at her chuckling a bit. "I find a need and try to correct it. Occasionally, it depends on what I'm working on. I haven't made anything in a while, but I've modified several carts for some people living back home. It's hard work but I like it. And what was that last one?" He asked smiling crossing his arms in a relaxed way, not looking menacing at all.

Sayen walked closer to Fen but not getting closer then five feet. "Why are you this way?" She asked him her voice showing no emotion as she looked him straight in the eye wanting to see if he understood or would attempt to lie to her.

Luna swallowed shifting slightly again only stretching her arms out to roll her shoulder. She had hit it on the journey here and it still hurt. She hadn't been paying attention and felt her hand hit someone. She jumped looking up at Monty who, appeared to have just been looking back at his sister. Even though Monty appeared to be the shortest man he was still much taller then she. Her hand had only hit his arm just below the shoulder. "Sorry." She mumbled moving away from him a bit. Not only is she short she's clumsy too.
