Hi there! I just created my account today and when I went back to exploring after completing my first quest it brought up a screen that said and object was found...It showed and egg. It gave a scenario talking about how it couldn't find parents and presented me with a choice if I should take it. I did take it but now I'm worried that I took an egg away from it parents...or did I steal an egg from another player?

Can someone please explain this? Is this something that happens often? I'm so sorry if these are stupid questions...

You didn't steal from anyone. The game randomly generates eggs that you can find while exploring. While it isn't common, it isn't that rare and you will find more! I personally always adopt them. :)

Just as a quick note, it is possible for the egg to be destroyed as well by bandits sometimes, so it's not always a 100% guaranteed thing that you will get the egg after finding it.

As Fox stated though, it doesn't hurt to collect any eggs you find because there's always a chance you'll get something nice~ the colors on your newly found egg are quite pretty by the way. Grats on that~!

Also thank you for the compliment on my egg! I was also pleased about the colors as shades of blue are my favorites! :)
