I don't know if this is already a thing and I'm just missing it, but I'd love for rarity to be displayed on a pet's page. Like, if you capture a Rare Sylesti, it should say "Rare" in it's genetics tab (or info tab, either one). Sme thing for Common, Uncommon, etc.
Idk I just think it would make breeding a bit easier so you don't have to remember what's rare and what isn't.

A pet's rarity indicates what traits the pet can have. Particularly how many genotype points it has (carries are 1pt and visible are 2pts).

So when you see a tamed pet (after a genetic testing) with 2 carries or 1vis, you know it's rare, because rare sylestis only have 2 genotype points.

Or epic for 2vis, or 1vis2carry, or 4carry.
So on and so forth.

The only thing that can make the number vary is if a genetic mutator was used, but there would be a marker on the profile saying one was used. You'd only have to subtract 1-2 genotype points to get what was the original amount the pet started with.


It comes after a bit of time, but you'll know what the rarity of a pet just by looking at its genetics, without needing to ask.
