Basically this is a thread for helping other people with realtionship problems and giving advice. All of Krinadon and Faionas rules apply. Please don't shame someone about a crush/ significant other. It's not kind. Please only post your situation once per page.

You can give me advice? Well I have a crush on my best friend. I think they like me too. I'm scared to advance things for multiple reasons. I am in the age range of 13-16 and some would say that is too young. My parents seem to really dislike the thought of me dating someone. I'm scared that if we take things to the next level and then we break up we won't be friends anymore. I'm not completely sure if my crush likes me in that way though. We've held hands, hugged each other, and they have put their arm around my shoulder at this dance thing. We spend a lot of time together and my best friend's friends have told me that my best friend likes me. I kind of think I'm scared of relationships. I have problems making and keeping friends because I have a hard time opening up to others. I'm worried that if we start dating that I'll freak out and push my best friend away because I'm not used to what we are doing. Please let me know what you are thinking.

It's not confusing at all don't worry about it.

I think you should tell him/her. While his/her friends may not be correct, it not always best to keep secrets from your best friend, especially if it's about them. If they don't like you, A, it's their loss, and B, you have that off of your chest. I told my best friend I had a crush on him, and while he rejected me, he still loves me as a friend. If he/she is truly your best friend, they will stick around through anything. If anything , it may make your friendship stronger if you do break up, because then you'll both know that your friendship can survive through hardships.

I have a crush on this boy, Dylan. I've had it since 4th grade. He's funny, as an amazing personality and is cute (not like "OMG CYUUUUUTE" like he's cute in like, freckles, dark hair), while also being a friend. I have a feeling he likes me too, cause all his friends say "...since he has a crush on Tess." but I have no idea how to tell him. Only one of my friends know and I tell my mom I'm over it. I just turned 13 also, so I'm too young for dating. Please help. I don't know what to do, but I also don't want to lose the chance to tell him if he plans to move or something else.

Stay friends with him for the time being. That's what I did because I wasn't allowed to date. Don't let the friendship go to far though because my friendship is extremely confusing. It's like we're dating, but when people ask us about it we say we aren't. Then again you might not want to go for that route and if you don't then maybe just tell him how you feel. Just because you tell him that you like him in that way you don't have to automatically start dating. I guess just do whatever feels right.

If he's not one of your close close friends, I would probably suggest not telling him yet, or at least not until you feel you are ready to date. But really, it's up to you. If he's not one of your best friends of all time, this could either make or break a relationship.

I would get his number or email if you think he's going to move and you're not ready to tell him. Don't feel rushed to tell him you like him, or pressured by your friends. They don't know you, and they aren't you.

God, all of you guys crushes like you! I guess yall aren't awkward nerds like me though. The only people who ever like me are sociopathic...
