This happens sometimes. What I do is use the button on a blank post and memorize the code thing.

You can type this in manually and it should work! Sometimes the little brackets will get confused and get put around text you don't want. If this doesn't help, you may not be copying the right link, or I don't quite understand the question

If I'm not wrong, the template link replace also appears if you have the same link repeated in the same post.

The only way people can help figure what's wrong with your post is if you can show what you typed. Either screenshot it, or copy paste and change the square to round brackets, or add spacing, or something, so we can see the chunk of code.

This issue is the bane of my forum post existence. For me it almost exclusively happens if I have a repeated link - though it's important to go through and check you've got all your [/url] in place. If it is a repeated link problem, try removing the https:// from one of the links. I would also always recommend using the forum buttons than trying to free-hand links because although we may be very well practiced in these things, if something does go wrong with typing it can be an absolute nightmare to find.

Yea, this usually appears if you have the same link repeated with different text.

An easy solution is to add random crap to the end of the URL. You can easily do this by preceeding the random crap with the '#' sign. For example:

http://www.sylestia.com

becomes

http://www.sylestia.com#jasodijfaosmdf

They are both the same link and will go to the same place.
