So I'm thinking about writing a story and I have most of the stuff to start writing, EXCEPT the companions to eight of the main characters. So I'm making a contest out of it!!!
Background Info Okay so here's a little snip-it of what the story is about. There is an ancient curse and the gods don't want what was described in the curse to happen, so they send eight emissary's (one for each god) down to find eight human partners. The problem is that the emissary will stay eggs until the human that is destined to be there partner finds them. (super watered-down version)
Rules! please read all before entering!!! 1. Don't be mean this is a friendly competition. 2. Don't steal anyone's designs. 3. I will do the designs one at a time, so follow the prompt for the current one! 4. You can enter as many times as you want as long as you have not won a previous round. 5. You can post your stuff on this thread as I will be picking the winning design. 6. I will need the egg, hatchling and adult versions of anything you design!!! 7. Have fun!
Prizes This contests prizes are a lot smaller then my other contest that is running right now, but that is mostly because this is a lot less formal. The prize for winning any one of the rounds is a pet from my hatchery or a "free" breed with any the pets in my stable. (Be warned I am almost exclusively a zolnixi breeder.)
And for those of you who are in my other contest this will in no way delay or cancel that competition.
(whoops forgot the first theme)

At the end of the per image URL, you add
&size=250
Or whichever width you want the image to be.
By default, the largest size is =500.
(side note, I'm interested in entering this too!)

Can I just ask what the time frame is for the next prompt to start? Is it just going to be when you pick a winner? If so can I maybe get put on a ping list?

EGG looks like an Opal (I think)
Emissary of LIGHT (It's Yellow, and has rings of light)
Faelora (Because its flower-y)
"Queen" (Therefore the gender is Female)
