He had been awake for hours it seemed a still the voice seemed to be repeating over and over in his mind. 'You must not trust anything. Nothing in this world is true.' It said over and over until the nanny Martha entered the room for the second time. "Hurry now children you must not keep your new father waiting!" She reminded with a happy tone. Jean sighed and got up. He didn't have anything to pack, everything he owned was already on his person. Even if it was just a picture of his mother when she was young, it was still something. He pushed his hands into his pockets as he walked to the lobby. There was a sharply dressed man standing near the door with a bored look on his face. 'Lord is that the guy that came to get us? He looks like a drunk if I've ever seen one.' Jean thought to himself as he waited for the other children whom were still packing.

"Today's the day guys!" The little girl said happily. "The sun is shinning..." She looked out the window to find it was indeed raining like it normally did. "Or well it will be! Nothing can make this day any better!" Naila said as she ran about the room in a happy manner. She was so excited that she forget all about packing, though there was nothing much she could have grabbed. She rushed by her bed and took her stuffed animal from the thin white sheets. "Come on now Sir Abraham let us go meet our new family!" She said as she hugged the poor patched together horse looking animal tightly to her. "Or should we wait for the others?" She asked looking back and finding Olivia. "Olivia! Are you coming too?"

There was nothing much he wanted to say, not until they were all together in a safe place. Malik looked over the small boy that entered the room before him. He looked to be a strong boy, one that could hold his own. There was a scar on his face, a good sign. The boy was a fighter, though not one that just beat his opponents to a pulp, no the boy had wit on his side and speed. That was exactly what the female had told him, this boy must have been Jean Reed. Only time would tell though, and the others would help determine that for everyone. "I presume that the others are headed this way?" Malik asked though the boy didn't answer but only stood staring. "Right..."

Qrow jumped out of bed,"It's really happening guys! I wonder if he is rich, or if he has servants! Ooo maybe he has a pool!!" Qrow screeched excitedly and grabbed her bag from under her bed. She grabbed her pillows and ran out into the hall. "YYYYYYaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy!!!!!" she yelled running down the hall. Qrow stumbled and fell onto her broke arm. "Ooowwwww...!" she sniffled back a yelp and got back up. She picked back up her bags and put her blankets on her head. "Hi, I am Qrow, your new child. Are you rich? Do you have servants?" Qrow stared into his eyes.

Yep that must have been Qrow. She came from a rich family and expected the best of life, though she was never going to get it. "I'm afraid I am not rich, and no I don't own any servants." Malik answered before bending down to her level. "Your arm what happened to it?" He asked his expression not changing.

"Oh.. Uh..," Qrow looked into his eyes,"Some bullies, um they dropped cinder blocks on it when I was sleeping..." Qrow looked around, changing the subject,"Do you have a big enough house for all of us, or car..?"

Olivia slid of her bed and landed silently on the floor "I am coming." She said emotionlessly following the others into the lobby. She saw the man and stared at him i don't like him she thought he'll probably beat me just like my parents did She went to the window farthest from everyone and looked out ignoring everything.

"And what did you do about it?" The man asked not ready to let the subject go so easily. He found that he was being a bit pushy and stood. "Excuse me where are my manners." Malik said in a huffy voice. "I'm Malik Hebert, your soon to be father. You all must be the ones I'm going to help." He gave a very fake smile before continuing. "As for the house it's plenty big enough, and the car as well."

The man was strange, very strange. Jean took a step closer to the man, ready to fight him if he hurt any of the girls.

(Just realized that Jean is the only boy.)

Qrow put out her hand to shake his and looked at Jean."Jean you know you don't have to fight him, he's going to be out dad."

Dads aren't always a good thing Olivia thought bitterly she stepped a little closer to Jean ready to back him up if he decided to fight.

The man merely looked at them. "I assure you that if you even try to fight me, you'll wish you hadn't." Malik warned in a dangerous tone. Jean instantly swallowed and backed away. He was scared of the man, even if they had just met.
