Chloe-
I bend over the hood of my car. For some reason it's not working and because I suck at cars i have no idea how to fix it. I get my phone out of my pocket and start trying to call Aiden. He'll know what to do i think as my phone keeps ringing. "Pick up" i say under my breath. His phones probably dead i think as the phone starts giving me to voice mail. I look around helplessly not knowing what to do, I can't call a mechanic because he'd probably just cost me money for things i don't need and i don't even know the number of one. I could look around for anyone still in the mall but it's getting kinda dark and i don't want to ask anything from a random stranger. Damn it, why are you always gone when i actually need you?

Aiden-
I slouch farther into the couch. The news is boring but the remote is so far away and i just got the perfect spot. I sigh reaching for the phone next to me. Who knows maybe Chloe is out of work and wants to hang out I try turning it on put the screen stays black. No battery I sigh I'll charge it later i think as i lay the phone next to me and continue to listen to the Gazelle on the screen drone on about how nice the weather will be tomorrow.

Chris was jogging down the road when he came to a dog bent over the hood of what should be her car. He slowly came to walk as he pulled the head phones from his ears. "Sorry to be a bother ma'am but you seem to having a bit of car trouble, do you need any help?" He asked with a kind smile on his face as he leaned a hand on the cars side.

Rei ran down the dark alley, vaulting over piles of junk and dumpsters. With an exhilarated cry she jumped up to catch the bottom rung on a ladder of steps that led up to one of those continuing balconies the hat went all the way to the top of the building. Her weight pulled the steps down and she scampered up them, her red hair flying behind her. She kept going until she reached the top and hauled herself onto the rooftop. Looking around with wide eyes she gaped at the sparkling city below. She was breathing heavily but she didn't care. Rei padded over to the edge of the roof and sat down with her legs dangling over the edge as she just watched the city.

Chloe-
I jumped i hadn't even heard him coming "uh, yeah, some...somethings wrong with my car... could you help?" she said nervously she HATED talking to people she didn't know but this Otter seemed nice enough "Only if you want to." she added not wanting to seem rude. She took a step away from the car so that he could look.

Aiden-
I groaned and got up from the couch. I picked up my phone and walked into the kitchen, retrieving the charger on the way. I plugged it in to one of the outlets over the counter and let it charge. I foraged around in my fridge and found some microwavable noodles. I put it in the microwave for ten minutes then went back to the couch. I grabbed the remote and changed the channel to my favorite sports network. this is better I thought smiling and settling into the couch to watch.

Rei flopped onto her back to look up at the stars that occasionally peeked through the clouds. She closed her eyes and let the light breeze ruffle her fur and play with her hair. After awhile she sat up and rolled to her feet. Sighing reluctantly as she looked out over the city once more she jumped back down to the first balcony with clang that made her ears flatten against her head. Jeez, what happened to my feline stealth she thought wryly as she hurried to climb down. Her wreck less energy coursed through her and she decided to see if she could make every single balcony clang on her way down. She started skipping the strains and just jumping straight down. Just as she reached the last balcony a shout caught her attention and she looked up to see a disgruntled fox glaring and shouting down at her. Rei grinned, saluted the fox, then jumped to the ground and pulled up her hood, disappearing into the shadows.

Chris took off the towel that was around his neck. "What seems to be the trouble?" He asks looking over into the engine. "Did it just die or what, ma'am?" He asked trying to be polite.

"uh i don't know." she said trying not to let her voice waver "i put my keys in and it worked for a second before dying." she admitted. She was pretty sure it had died "sorry i'm completely out of my element here." she admited "my answers may not be right all i can do is explain it to you." she gave a shy smile and her tail and ears drooped a little. She reached her paw up and started twirling her hair around one of her fingers, a nervous habit she had developed.

Rei padded down the street with her hood up and her paws in her pockets. She passed a wolf and an otter trying to get a car fixed and watched a little before continuing on. She walked up the stairs to her apartment and took the key out of her pocket, unlocking the door and going inside. She closed and locked the door behind her then walked into the kitchen to get a snack. She pulled some leftover Chinese food out of the fridge and heated it up then flopped onto her couch with her meal, turning on the tv and flipping through channels to hopefully find something good to watch.

Jared slung his hoodie over his shoulder as he walked home. Hopefully Rei would be there but you never knew with her. A fond smile curved his mouth. He padded up the stairs to their apartment and tried the door. Locked. He took out his key and unlocked the door, going inside.

"Come on, it'll be fun!"
Gissela stumbled along as her friend dragged her out into the open. For the past hour and a half Ricky had been helping Gissela with her normal wake up routine meant for night, all in the hopes that he could get her to spend some time out in the sun. He had helped her with breakfast, did her make up, combed her hair, Ricky even went so far as to help her brush her teeth. All was required for the half-asleep cow to get along, and now Ricky was on the verge of having to carry her. Though she could move on her own, Gissela was prone to stumble at least once every ten steps. There unfortunately just wasn't time for him to deal with that.
When Ricky stopped momentarily to think about all of his options, Gissela flew forward and slammed into his back. He instantly screamed in pain and jumped as her sharped horns dug right into his back. As Ricky moved forward a little, so did Gissela, but this time her head landed on his shoulder and her horns far from where they could do any harm.
"Mmm... I'm a piggy. Give me a piggy back ride."
Ricky's eyes widened. He wasn't sure he had the strength to do that.
"But... your a cow."
"No! I'm a piggy. Oinkie oinkie."
Gissela scrunched up her nose and wiggled it, before lazily climbing on top of him so that he had no choice but to do as she commanded. Ricky sighed and wrapped his arms around her legs.
"Humpf... Are you sure you wouldn't rather..."
It was of no use. Gissela was asleep. Ricky sighed and began heading off in the direction of town.
