Spring Queen



In the first dawn light on the Spring Equinox, an elegant Sylesti can be seen. Everywhere she steps, snow melts and flowers bloom, her wings create warm breezes, swirling around the bare branches of trees and bushes, small buds forming at the ends. But the Sylesti is gone the instant the sun peeks over the horizon, leaving behind the sweet scent that is the pure essence of Spring.



The True Leprechaun



You've finally found it! The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! But, as you approach, instead of a small, green man walking out from behind the large cauldron, out steps a beautiful Sylesti. Pale, with swirls just like the rainbow itself with shimmering golden rings and butterflies. He stands between you and the gold. "If I give the gold to you, what will you do with it?" He asks. What will you say?

Morrowind





He was born as a glimmer of light in a cruel, dark world. At a young age, he already showed signs of being an exemplary healer. Morrownind had a strong connection with nature, always venturing out into the forest, sometimes for days on end. He spent most of that time looking for those who might need his help, whether it be the elderly, the sick, or the dying. Human or not, he was always willing to fight for other's happiness. However, all of that almost ended when Morrowind was suddenly ambushed by a powerful group of nightfall bandits. The attack left him on the verge of death, unable to move and too weak to heal himself. Luckily, a faerie saw him in the forest and took him back to the Sanctuary of Saerielle, where his health was fully restored. He now wanders around the sanctuary, happily going about his usual business.

Earth


Sky


There were once two Sylestis, one of the earth and one of the sky. Although they usually lived far apart they loved each other dearly. They would often create gifts for one another. The Earth created trees so that he could sit in their canopies so that he could talk with her. The sky created birds which she used the send earth beautiful songs of her own creation. One day the earth fell very ill and the animals took him to the top of the tallest tree so that he could see the sky. When he saw her he died, and his body turned into a large oak seed. Sky was heart broken, and she told the animals to plant the seed in the most sacred part of the forest. The sky then allowed herself to become rain, and that rain fell were the seed was planted. From the seed of the earth and the rain of the sky the greatest tree grew. It's roots tunneled far into the earth and its branches reached far into the sky. It is still a holy place for both the sky and The earth.

Broken Confidence

they say that Broken Confidence was one of the most graceful and skilled beings around. Any contest she entered, she would always end up winning, until one day, a smart little zolnixi thought of a plan to make her lose. He decided he would cheat, and put oil upon the racetrack that Confidence would compete in next. As they lined up to race, Confidence still almost won the race, but the disadvantage was too great and the crafty zolnixi won. Confidence was heartbroken and retreated forever into her cave, never knowing what the other zolnixi had done. To this day, she is known as Broken Confidence, for those that climb the highest have the furthest to fall.

Black Magic

Once, long ago, there was a zonixi who was filled with vibrant colors that were more beautiful than a rainbow. The nixi did not brag however, and was a kind soul. One day, an ugly witch qitari moved into the meadow near the place where the colorful zolnixi lived. While brewing in her home one day, she looked out across the meadow to where the other sylesties played and scowled when she saw the beautiful zolnixi. She flew out in a fit of jealousy and threw a spell at the beautiful nixi, turning her colors to shades of black and white, her once beautiful coat gone. a spell circle lingered around the nixi and the other sylesties chased the witch away, but the zolnixis coat would forever be cursed with Black Magic.

Nature's Lingering


The humans had destroyed all but this one little piece of nature. They would not take this from her.
Out from the shadows of the trees, the Sylesti stepped out and grimaced with disgust at the bulldozers and evil that had invaded her valley. She would not tolerate this.
The Zolnixi, with a swipe of her paw, blasted away the equipment and the humans with it, taking them back to where they came. She tenderly came up to the section of land that had been desiccated, shuddering. She touched her paw to the earth. A single flower grew from it.

Cotton-Candy Dreamworld


The Slyesti skipped along the path of the festival, heading for the candy. She did not exactly ignore all of the brightly colored theme rides that beckoned visitors to waste their money. She just had better things to do.
The Zolnixi ran up to the cotton-candy booth. The booth keeper smiled down at her. "Not my usual customer, eh?" he inquired. She gave him a mischievous look.
"Oh, all right. But only because you look just like it." The booth keeper handed her a multicolored fluff of cotton-candy. She took it in her mouth, bowing gratefully and running off to enjoy her new prize.

Volcano's Spirit


When the shaman stepped up to the erupting volcano to sacrifice himself for the gods in the dead of night, he had not realized something. He had left a Spirit Trap in his pocket along with his spirit stones. Not realizing this, he threw the stones up into the air, along with the hidden Spirit Trap. The trap activated and with a 'snap', it captured the spirit of the volcano. As the volcano abruptly stopped erupting, a fiery Sylesti stepped out of the lava and nuzzled the shaman's hand.




Rage


He was angry. So angry. They tormented him every day, until there was nothing left but rage. Pure rage. He hoped, he dreamed, that they would get what they deserved. He would strike, and they would reap what they sowed.

You're fine, but honestly, I think I would've chose you as one of the winners because your designs and backstories are amazing. I'm actually glad you didn'd want prizes because I don't think it would've been fair xD
