This morning Krin sent me my two custom Avatar Items, (Chi's Smack Everyone Over the Head Staff and Soul Reaper, if that matters at all. ) And I've been trying to equip them all day. The hand of my avatar will close like she's holding something, but nothing will be there and when I hit "Save avatar" It'll just revert to her not holding anything at all. I've tried reloading the page, different Internet server thingies (ie: Internet Explorer and Google Chrome) but It's still not working.
Not sure what else to do....

I apologize for that. Seems like something errored when I originally uploaded the image files. I re-uploaded them and now it is working.

Just reload your avatar image.
