Dunno where you misplaced the log out option button-thingie, but you kinda need to put it back.

Mine's working fine. It's the little door in the upper right corner by your avatar, the one with the red arrow. (For the new pages.)
The old pages will have it up in the right corner as a little red box.

No changes have been made to page's html code so the button/link is still there.

Can't see it anymore so I'd suspect the java or html dropped something or there's a line with a scripting fault...hiding it when it shouldn't be. Usually I can see it.

I usually have to go to certain pages to see the logout button. My hatchery is the usual place. It only appears on certain pages for me such as pet profiles and the hatchery and some other pages.

I was on the login page and looked up and it was missing. I went to several pages and didn't see it. It's not a big thing for me, because I can simply close the page and dump my caches, but I kinda thought they'd like to know their scripting needed checking.
I can see it now, but I couldn't yesterday and it disappeared right about the same time my 30K gold did. I have since sold enough pets to replace the gold, but that's not the point...I still don't have the 30K that went POOF back even if the button is now visible...and I can't help but wonder what the connection is: Because the timing is suspicious.

There is nothing on our Site that would prevent either of the log out links to load (except not being logged in). They are static and load on every page.
If it doesn't appear for you - then there is something on your end blocking them.
If you ever can't log out via conventional methods, you can always just visit this link:

Thank you for the link, I'll put it on one of my txt worksheets where I can get to it, but the whole thing almost sounds like java updated and maybe the site programs lagged a bit while catching up. If it's not the html, java adjusting itself is the next thing, yeah? This is why we call these things glitches.

Nothing has changed server-side. If your PC's software changed, then yea, it could have caused an issue.
But everything has remained static server-side.
