SO I had an idea. basically, you create a avatar and sylesti that is spring based. For example,

one pet from any of my stable or hatchery (with a few exceptions)

The contest will end on Friday, June 17th. No entries will be accepted after that.

There is no limit on traits, or what items are used on the avatar, nor is there a limit to how many times you can enter. The only requirement is that it is Spring themed.

I'm going to be presenting my avatar/Sylesti as characters in a story, is that okay? The rules didn't say anything, so I hope it's alright. Here it is:

Spring. Bright, colorful, a time of growth and change. And I was going to meet her, the very incarnation of spring. I don't know how I'm managed to meet the real Spring, but I'm not going to question my good luck. Just a few more minutes and she'd be here....

I wasn't sure what I was expecting. But this wasn't it. Not at all. There before me stood Spring and her Sylestia, smiling at me.





I couldn't help it. I started shaking. How could I not?

Where were the bright, pastel colors? Where were the bunnies, the rainbows, the flowers? Where's spring, because this can't be her!

"Hello there. I see you're unnerved." Her voice was a low purr, eerie and taunting.

"W-who are y-you?" I stuttered out, shaking harder.

"I'm Spring, of course! I am the one you wanted to meet, hmm?"

"N-no! No! NO! You're not the person I want to see, so get away from me!"

"Tsk tsk, so typical. It's always the same - spring should be bright, spring should be happy, spring should be cutesie! Well guess what - it's not, so get over it! There's no rainbows here, no singing, and no sunshine!" She growled at me, her fist clenching around her scythe. "Spring is dangerous. Spring is deadly. Spring is chaotic." She paused, the silence suffocating me as my fear choked me and my shock strangled me.

"You know what to do."

Her Sylestia rushed me, tentacles trashing and letting out a horrifying scream. Before I could so much as breath, it was on me, body and tentacles constricting me. I attempted to scream, but my voice was gone.

Spring slowly walked up to me, head down and clutching her scythe. She held it above her head and began twirling it around. The pixies surrounding her went into a frenzy, zipping about and flashing. The wind began to kick up, flipping her hair and dress up.

The scythe descended on me. I don't know if it hit me, or if it really hit at all. I do know that my whole world went pitch black. I couldn't feel anything, as if all of my senses has been shut down. I felt a hazy feeling overtake my head. I don't know if I'm dying. Before I could find out, I heard a voice. It was odd, barely whisper.

"Isn't it wonderful?"
