Excuse me if I'm wrong, but I think I might have encountered a bug. I'm currently stuck on Jinxie's dialogue box:
"It sounds like Esior's Fields are in danger! The fields are the primary source of food for the entire Kingdom, so any disruption can have very bad consequences!
I think you and your Sylesti are capable of handling this. What do you say we go teach some bandits how to play nice?!
Use your Map to enter Esior's Fields"
When first introduced to quests, I accepted both but accepted the clear fields quest first, so I did it first. I completed the quest and got my reward, but the dialogue didn't move forward. I panicked and though I wasn't supposed to have taken the second quest, so I abandoned it. I believe this is what caused the error.
The tutorial didn't change, so I went back to town and clicked about. I went back to the fields and fought some monsters/bandits, still nothing. I checked the quest board and the quest I abandoned was there, so I re-accepted it hoping it would fix it.
Nothing happened. I checked everywhere, and yet I can't figure out what to do! I can't find ant 'bandit leader' and Jinxie's still stuck. I just don't know what to do!

It looks like you still have a few more steps to complete in the Esior's Fields tutorial zone.

What do I need to do? I've defeated 10 enemies, got the reward, and went back to town. Am I missing something?

The tutorial zone ends by defeating Dreadnaught and completing the dialogue at the end.

Okay, I've looked up how to defeat Dreadnaught. I just need to keep exploring until I encounter him, right?

Okay, I've finished the quest and Jinxie's dialogue has moved on! Yay! I can now go to Trollsblight Cavern (Or was it Trollsblight Cave? Trollsbright? Trollnight?!) and explore. Thanks a lot for helping me! =^.^=
On an unrelated note, I've gotten two eggs from exploring. The thing is, I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do. Do they just hatch over time or do I need to do something? Can the egg die/not hatch? Do I need an item? Is there any way to speed up the process/tell the breed? How long does it take for a egg to hatch? How about become an adolescent/adult?
Sorry for all the question, whenever I find a new game my brain goes into overdrive....It's making sure I'm not being productive or thinking about anything else because what if the eggs hatch into evil demonic monsters that eat my Sylestia?! ..............YOU NEVER KNOW!

The eggs will hatch in time. They will be ready to hatch when they reach 72hours of maturity. You can see how much time they have left by going to their profile page, near the bottom there's a bar that indicate their current maturity out of 72hours.
To help the egg hatch faster, you can nurture them. Every 5 nurtures add an hour of maturity. When it's ready to hatch, you can choose to "let the egg hatch" which will add a point to either strength/intelligence/agility/dexterity, choose "help the egg hatch" which will add some points to health, or use a philter (if you have) that will add the amount of points in the philter description.
Pets in this game won't die. At most they will fall unconscious, but you can revive them. If the species is not indicated on the pet profile page, you can copy the image url, the species will be indicated there.
These are the maturity times for the different pet stages:
Hatchling - 72hours
Adolescent - 216hours
Adult - 648hours
Note that maturity and age is different. The age on the pet profile indicates the amount of time since the pet has been created. To see the maturity, you'll need to have the pet genetically tested, copy the image url, and near the end there's a &maturity=___, where the number there is the pet's maturity in hours.
If you have anymore questions, do post in the faq forum. Or you can pm me. Let's keep the bug forum for bugs reporting, so it's easier for the admins. ^^

Okay, thank you very much for your help! I'm still a noob, so I wasn't aware of seperate forums but I'll be sure to post/reply in the proper one now. Also, can I just say I am highly intimidated by everyone's avatars. I know there's a lot of customization options but I didn't realize that everyone's avatar looks like a epic goddess ready to conquer humanity.

I'm not a goddess; I'm just a humble insect lady.
