He had called them up to his study, including him. Shadir walked up the mountain pass slowly as he had so many other times before now, though this time was different. Altair had called him to his chambers, him with a few others. The master was not one to just call an assassin out unless they had done something to dishonor the creed or to shoot above it. So what could he want with them all? Shadir wondered this as he ascended, Canis by his side. The puffadore could sense his master distress this he kept whimpering every now and again. Shadir would just smile down at the small animal before picking him up and carrying him in his arm through the castle gates.

She would never hear the end of it. Alhena grumbled to herself as she stalked through the lines of people that stood between her and the castle gates. Many of the people were borthers or sisters that belonged to the creed though there was a few that were just normal villagers.
"Honestly Claradon I don't see why Altair let's so many random people live in this town with us. If I were in charge this would all be different." Alhena grumbled as she looked down at the vulnyx. The cat like creature looked away from her gaze. "I swear if this is about my last mission then I'm done." She shut her mouth as she entered the castle and walked slowly towards the chambers of the master assassin. Shadir stood in front of Altair's desk, Canis by his side. 'Good I'm not the only one at least.' The girl thought as she took her spot by Shadir. The two looked at each other before resuming their stance of looking out the window since Altair was not yet present.

Violet jogged up to the Assassin citadel/temple. This could be her chance to prove herself, Altair himself sent for her. ...or maybe she'd done something wrong, again. Her pace slowed to a walk. The meeting she looked forward to a second ago she now dreaded. Leo nuzzles her hand as if telling it would be ok. "I know leo. It's not like this would be the first time I've been chewed out for something."

She entered the Master's chamber to find him and three others

Gabriel ran up the pass. Not a change she would be content and plod up the mountain like the others. Ray and Sypher followed closely behind her. "Come on!" She said.

Gabriel knocked and entered the master's study. There were already two others. Even though she ran here.

Holy...it was him. Even in his older age you could tell it was him Altair. It was truely an honor to be here at this moment. Shadir lowered his hooded face in respect and waited for the master to speak. Canis say at his feet his own head lowered as well. To be here at this moment for what ever cause it may be was still one of the greatest honors anyone could have.

"Shadir. Violet. Gabriel. Alhena." The man's voice was slow yet steady as he said each of their names. "I'm pleased to see you have all came here with such haste." He began pacing from behind his desk, looking down at the ground as he went. "Is it true that none of you know that in which you are here?"

Her heart nearly skipped a beat. Slowly Alhena shook her head, not sure if it was alright to speak yet or not. Claradon say at her feet silent as he watched the man pace. Did the others know the reason for them to all be called here or was it just her that was left in the dark?

Gabriel shook her head, not looking him in the eye. She had no clue why they were there. Ray and Sypher looked down, bowing to the master. Ray had been bread especially to respect the assassins.

Violet looked down, "are we in trouble?" She asked.
Leo looked at the master, his large bulk making the room look small.

"No, no none of you are in trouble. I know very well of all of your talents, your teachers have told me of every training you succeeded at and which ones you fail at. That is why all of you are here, because of your actions weather they be failing or successful. Now you all know of The Piece I'm sure?" Altair stopped only for a moment then continued his pacing.

The Piece? Of Eden? Shadir nodded. "I know of the piece sir, that was what brought an end to both head assassins before you correct? But what does this have to do with the reason we are here?" Canis gave a small growl, then stood.

Alhena was confused. What was this piece he spoke of? The piece of Eden? What the heck were they talking about? Had she missed something? Claradon growled at the name his fur raising a bit.

Wait, the peice? Like the peice of eden? Gabriel looked out the winder as the cogs in her mind turned. Sypher seemed to be listening.

She'd heard about the apple but never seen it. She'd began to think itnwas just a myth.

"As in the peice of eden?" Questioned Violet, her hand finding it's way to Leo's mane.

"Yes the Piece of Eden, or the Apple. So some of you do know, yet the others don't." Altair stops his pacing and turns to the desk. From within his robe he pulls the sphere out. It glows lightly as he lays it on the table. "The Piece of Eden, a powerful artifact, one of many."

"You mean there is more than that one? What is the Templars get a holed of one?" Shadir says stepping forward a bit only to get nipped by Canis. He backed up some hanging his head down again. "Sorry master."

"It's alright. That is exactly why you are all here, so that we can discuss this matter. Yes I am afeared that there may be more pieces like this one out there, and if the Templars got ahold of one of them then it would mean the end of everything we know. This can not be allowed to happen, it must be stopped before it starts. I brought you here because you all are the most qualified for this task. I have here a map marked with the possible locations of this second Apple, I want you all to hep each other locate this pieces and bring it back to me. Understand?" Altiar looked at each of them in turn.

Alhena nodded slowly as Shadir did. This was so much to take in in such a short time. How could all of these legends be true? Here she was thinking that all of these tales were myths.

"Parden me master but how are we the most qualified? Isn't there someone else? Someone more experienced that could do this? Such an important mission, failure isn't an option in this mission." Said Gabriel, finally speaking up.

Violet didn't say it but silently she agreed. What had possessed the master to entrust something so important to her?

"With our numbers low and the Brotherhood falling apart we really can't afford to send anyone with more experience. Then mentors have to stay here and train new recruits so we must settle for the second best, which is you. All of you have already proved yourself through your training, no matter how little of it you have or how much. You all will do good and will not fail us I just know it. Now go and get some rest, you will all leave at sun rise tomorrow." Altair slipped the apple back in his robe and wandered from the room.

Shadir stood looking at the ground still. "What does he mean by this? We aren't even assassins yet how can we be the next best thing compared to the mentors?" Canis put a paw on his masters foot and begged to be picked up again.

Alhena sat thinking for a moment. "It could have something to do with our ancestors, you know like our parents. Maybe that has something to do with it."
