Are you referring to the instant messaging system at the bottom?
If so, is your zoom at 100%? Zooming in or out is known to cause issues with Comet Chat. |

Oh... do you mean the counter on the new site layout or the orange highlight on the old layer? Or both?
Is the PM from awhile ago? The counter, I believe, only counts recent PMs. |

| It seems to be working now, I'm not sure if it was just that person who it didnt show up for (both times it did it was with a message from Pegacorn8) |
