A Zolnixi love/tragedy, sorry that it's short!

Shine padded down the lane. What a day! Her nose twitched with the smell of fresh food.
She woke up. Food! She jumped to her feet, and hurtled down the Zolnixi village. In her dream, all the creatures were living together. In peace, harmony. She had to find this place! She knew a place awaited her there...
She traveled for many days and many nights, her once thick fur slim with hunger. She had been attacked by Vorkids, the Undead, Bandits... What next?! But all her fears slipped through her mind as she saw it. The village! She had made it! Black was flashing all over her vision... She couldn't see....
She slumped, unconscious.
When she woke up, she saw a light pink Zolnixi leaning over her. "She's awake!" she called. A throng of Sylestia of all kinds surrounded her. She struggled weakly to her feat, but slumped back as dark threatened to overwhelm her. A dark pelted Lighira padded towards her. She let him grab her gently by her scruff, and give her herbs. She noticed that to the side, two male Zolnixi were standing. One inclined his head to her. She felt faint, but not from exhaustion or illness. He looked right at her, and then away. The light pink Zolnixi gently nudged her to her den.
"I'm Roe, by the way," she said. She arranged some moss under Shine. But she couldn't get him out of her head! But... It could wait until morning...
When she lifted her head again, the sun was blazing through the opening to the den, and Roe was gone. But...

Yes! I love the story so far! Reminds of Teresa and Thomas from The Maze Runner, such a god series!
