I doubt that this is the first time someone mentions it (since it is quite obvious) but I didn't find anything like this when skimming through the first few pages of the forum.

When fighting wild Sylesties, it is possible to copy their image into the Generator and see all their colors. I'm not sure if this is intended, but it sure gives a great advantage when capturing wild pets.

Yep. That is how it's set up. Carried Traits will be hidden though unless you scan the pet.
