One long ago, sylesti's were at war with each other for power and dominance over the region but then a small light became a flame. soldiers made hideouts in tree's, caves and underground to hide and to heal the wounded. yet over time they made them bases for their kingdoms. and when the war was over they transformed into homes and inns for travelers, but the king of the entire region did not accept that he was not in control of all of those lower then him and ordered the so called 'Havens' to be his or destroyed. as you were hunting the soldiers got their winged creatures and burned your home to nothing. you ran as far as you could for days then finally you found a Haven that was untouched by any who sought to destroy it. rebuild your home and turn it into not just a Haven but Safe Haven for all

Kiko dashes around tree's with what felt like her lungs burning from running. she remembers seeing her home in flames and her parents lying dead in the ash and soot. she drew her last breath then collapsed gasping. she calmed down and looked to the night sky. the soldiers stopped following and she relaxed. she got up and walked until the forest tree's stopped at a point. she looked up and saw a shadow that loomed over her head. she looked closely and saw a large tree. s spark of hope ignited and she climbed up through the leaves. it was like a platform but with branches and leaves. her eyes lit up with joy but then she heard them. the soldiers flew around the tree. she saw them through a few holes on the leaves. she stood still. they then left with their creatures screeching. she sighed then layed down. 'a new Haven' she thought

Appearance: Whatever form he's in, Ollie always has a black coat, bright green eyes and sutle hints of brown and green in his coat. He always seems to have longer fur/scales/whatever on the nape of his neck. ^{Perhaps he was born a Lighira...}

(sure thing!) Kiko took her stuff out from her bag and looked around. a new home and it looked safe and sound. she took out a sandwich and ate it. she looked through the leaves and saw a figure (Oliver) and wondered who or what it is. she stayed still and waited for it to move closer to see

Oliver was in one of his favorite forms today, a Lighira. Grumbling and growling, he set up camp. "Just because I'm bigger than you...does mean that I can eat you--okay?!" And it was quite true. Ollie was bigger than most Sylesti, and when in human form, towered over the others. Not just height, Ollie was broadly muscled, and could likely beat anyone in a fight. The scars across his back and muzzle showed that he had done that more than once.

He sighed, camp was finally done. He had been alone for quite awhile, and had never really found home. He couldn't even remember what a 'home' really was anymore. Ollie lied down on the forest floor, and set his head onto his paws. He closed his eyes, and drifted to sleep. Almost. He heard a rustling in the bushes and his eyes flicked open. I can't even sleep for one moment. For... He looked over at his bag of 'tricks', as he liked to call it (bag of weapons) and growled. "I ain't need that" He turned towards the noise. "I know you're there. Come out." He snarled furiously. "Now."

Kiko stayed quiet and didn't move an inch. she quietly jumped to one of the branches and kept her grip. she didn't want to speak or other wise she might die. just as she was thinking of going out a bird tweeted and flew away from the tree. 'that's what made the rustling' she thought then kept still

Oliver laughed, a dull chuckle. "Just 'cause you're not moving doesn't mean I can't smell you." He turned to stare directly at Kiko. "I know you're there."

Kiko sighs and walks out of the leaves and walks along a branch. she looks down and says "well this is my tree" she says and makes her fur bristle to double her size

Oliver laughs, exposing his extremely large canines. "You live in a...tree?!" His green eyes seem to glow. "That's not even practical." He sees Kiko bristle up her fur, but this only makes him laugh more. "Even when you do that, little fox, you're not even half as big as me." He glares at Kiko. "Anyway, why do you want me to leave so badly? There's something that you're hiding up there, eh?"
