How do I get rid of certain traits? Is that possible? Can I?

You can buy philter of nullification from the scale shop (using scales from nurturing) or from the trade broker from other players.
To use it, go to your pet profile, and click "use philter". Choose this philter, and choose the gene/mutation slot that the trait you want to remove is in. Using the philter will remove everything in the slot you've chosen.
