(I just searched the first 10 pages and didn't see this anywhere, so if there's already an existing thread please feel free to point me to it)

Currently our "active pet" is always set to the first pet in our party. I'd love if we had to option to change which slot shows up as our active pet (or even being able to check a box on the party screen, so that our preset parties will save our choices).

I mostly ask this because, while I love all my pets, my tank is not always the prettiest in my party(I'm looking at you Santas Little Brick Wall), and it would be fantastic if I could change it to a pet that I find more aesthetically appealing.

as for me, I'd say I don't understand why we should always see our active pet at all.

I know exactly what my party looks like. I know who's a tank and who's a dd and who's a healer. so why remind me about one of them on almost every page of my account? furthermore, why just one of them?
anyway, I don't see any reason why I should see my "active pet" while let's say going through my hatchery. I mean, he's certainly not helping me to hatch the eggs.
it's not like if I wasn't happy to see him of course, but as the OP said, the pet who is most useful to be an "active" one, is not always the prettiest one. in my case, I have 3 not so fabulous ny'vene in my party, while my stables consist mostly of vulnyx, because I'm a crazy cat person, and those vul are way more nice-looking imo. maybe I should start a stat project for them and replace my party with brand new high stat cats. but before I have this done, I think we could just turn off that "active pet" picture.

She's...uh, a fighter all right. But really, really, not a pet I like aesthetically.

This is a good idea that I never really thought of.

I can't really do anything about it atm - but we will keep stuff like this in mind for when we rebuild the Site.

I think seeing the active pet on some pages and not seeing it on other pages is the result of the coding of some pages having been changed over time. That's also why on same said pages, you have to click the tabs to get their drop menus, and on others you can just hover over it. At least... that's my speculation.

IN ANY CASE! I agree I would like to set any pet I want as my active pet and not the first pet in my battle team. Maybe we can even display it on our profile next to our Avatar. Idk throwing weird things out there >w<
