Pretty new to this and already addicted but I'm finding the battle music to be incredibly annoying when you spam battles. I know there's a little speaker button in the right lower corner of the screen but it doesn't seem to work at all and I have no idea why. I listen to other music so muting my internet wouldn't help me at all. Any suggestions or is this an actual bug with the muting ability?

Okay I guess it worked after waiting awhile. Lol.

I had this same issue when I started. What fixed it for me was closing the website tab completely and coming back. There is a bit of a bug there at first I think. Also it randomly became un-muted again days later but when it happened to me, pressing mute that time worked right away.

:D Thank you so much! It works now! It has unmuted once but like you said, just pressing the button mutes it again.
