I've been wanting to do art of the Sylestia NPC's for a while, and now that I'm (finally?) coming into my own style, I'll be starting a bust project for all of the NPC characters on Sylestia.
I am still working on developing my style and would greatly appreciate critique to help me improve and to nip any bad habits I might have that I can't see myself~ so constructive criticism would be wonderful please~! I'll be adding WIP's as I go and will allow a couple of days for open critique before I polish and complete.
My current goal is to do two character's a month~ starting with the character I've been seeing every day (multiple times a day) for the past week. I think this is enough that I won't feel overwhelmed, but at the same time can continue working on other projects.
The first character for the month of April is Arena Grandmaster Aurtoris Xenodin! The second character for this month is still undecided~ (feel free to make a suggestion if there's a character you want to see done next).

WIP for the Arena Grandmaster~ I'll be redoing some of the lines on the armor, I don't really like how they came out. >_<
I also can't stop making fun of his helmet. It looks so silly. TwT

This is such a cool idea. I love your WIP so far as well. :) Can't wait to see more. ^-^
(Is it bad that I'm a fan of the helmet -- it adds character xd)

Thank you~! <3 I'm happy you like the project idea~ I'm quite excited to be working on it myself~ :)
It's not bad. xD It does add character~ it just doesn't mesh well with my tastes. TwT
Update for today~ Decided to barf some color up and got too lazy to finish it. I figure it's best to get the face down and then paint the armor overtop so that lines aren't as choppy later. AND I noticed he actually has point ears under that helmet! (Oops!)

And a quick update. Been busy with work and such and I'm a little tired tonight, so it's not too much. Hopefully I'll have this finished by Friday so I can get started on the next one. :)

Umm you could try doing Jinxie for the other NPC. Just a suggestion.

This guy reminds me of a Ny'vene. This is what a Nyvene would look like in human form. I like it!
