You're on the run. You've been part of a rebelion to destroy the Great Ones. Now they've destroyed everyone you know, everywhere you've been, and everything you love. The only thing you have right now is yourself, your wits, and what limited weapons you may have salvaged. Your only goal is to survive. Your only dream is to get revenge. Help your fellow rebels, befriend them, care for them, possibly love them, survive with them. You are your only hope.

Idea around The Great Ones:
Basicly they are an elite group of sylesties, also called fabeled sylesties. My idea at this kinda works with racism, they treat non-fabled sylesties as lesser, or un-important. They could have had non-fabled sylesties working for them, but they wouldnt have treated them very well.

Personality: Thorne is introverted and calm, and doesn't talk much. She conceals a mental and physical strength under her every move, and often takes opponents by surprise.
Background: Thorne was never the gossipy, chatterbox girl. She more listened to them and made notes, so she could understand what was going on according to them, and thus have a balanced opinion on everything. But she was always punished whenever she was caught, and made fun of because of her wings. The only person who didn't was Rayge, another Draeyl. She began teaching herself how to fight in her free time, and when the others began taunting her and pulling her wings, she knocked them off easily and nearly killed the main "cool kid." Then she was shunned by everyone but Rayge, and they developed a...um...relationship with one another. Then the Great Ones showed up. She was immediately taken captive, and was held in their prison for a year. She learned the guards' schedules by watching them, and snuck out to spy on the Great Ones. Rayge found and freed her, and they've been living on the run ever since.

Personality: Rayge is easily angered and strongly opinionated about almost everything. His rage takes precedence over everything inside him except his love for Thorne. He would do anything to protect her.
Background: Rayge was beaten by his family when he was younger, since he was the only one with the dragon wings mutation. It made him an outsider to them, and forced him to unleash his anger when he felt it. Work was a way to escape them and their constant torment of him. He met Thorne when carrying a message from their boss to one of her colleagues, and he fell instantly in love. When she was taken prisoner by the Great Ones, he felt lost, and couldn't think of anything but her. As of now, he almost hopes they won't find the rest of the Resistance, and that it would only be the two of them forever.

Previous job: She never had one. But she does sometimes help spirits, and makes sure whatever they need to do to move on is done. You probably wouldn't call it a job though.
Proffesion in rebelion (what you do to help others): It hasn't been found yet, she's pretty much a loner, helps the others as little as possible, prefers to be alone. Though she doesn't generally try to show it, she's afraid of trusting others.
Personality: Determined, not easily trusting, loyal, brave, complicated.
Background: As she grew up, she was always an outcast among the other children. Let's just say she always had a gift to see the spirits of the dead sylesties that didn't move on.. A gift which the other children made fun of her for, by any chance her secret might come out. There wasn't many she could trust, and most she told betrayed her. She told her best friend Liane soon after becoming a teen. Though Liane believed her, she soon after spilled it to everyone, branding her as a freak. It didn't help that her father left her when she was a young child and her mother didn't really seem to care for her much after she knew . That wasn't the whole truth, her mother was just like Melinda growing up, she just didn't want her daughter to be like that. Melinda still doesn't know about her mothers own secret. Another thing she doesn't know, is that she had a brother. Once she joined the rebels her father came to her in dreams. Though he left her, she now grieves, for that means he's dead.

Proffesion in rebelion (what you do to help others): He is a spy, a warrior, sometimes he sneaks into the village and assassinates the gaurds.
Personality: Angry a lot, always seems evil and cruel. But deep inside of him there's a young Ny'vene curled up in a ball crying. Lonely, fierce, determined.
Background: When Gaara was born, he was an outcast. His demons made him a freak, and somehow everyone he met got hurt. As a young child no one hanged out with them. He tried to play with the others, but things always ended up badly, one way or other. Pretty soon he met someone else. That person was the only one he thought he could trust. But later that person betrayed him, so Gaara killed him. That's when he turned into a monster, fighting only for himself, he didn't seem to care about others. Anyone who got in his way died.
