Hello! So I just unlocked Astryl's Vale, and the exploration system is really cool! However, I was wondering how to tell whether a wild sylestie is common/uncommon/rare/epic etc. while in battle, as they only come up as "wild ____". Does it have to do with the color of the stars? Thank you!

Yes, the colour of the stars indicate the rarity of the pet. The only difference is that the rarity of the pet in the 3rd region is a bit different from the first two.

White is common (0 gp)
Green is uncommon (1 gp)
Blue is rare (2 gp)
Purple is epic (4 gp)
Yellow is legendary (6 gp)
Red is mythical (I think 8 gp)

Oooh okay, thank you so much! Just so I understand correctly, gp meaning like 1 gp would be the equivalent of only having a carried gene, 2 gp would be either a visable gene or two carrieds, etc, as it works out when generating a pet?

Yep, that's right. Carries are 1 gp, visibles are 2 gp, like in the generator.

Red stars are, indeed, 8 gp ^.^
