Which sylesti makes the best tank for a battling team?

To answer this question, I researched the base stats for enhanced sylestis in the Generator and compared them. A tanking sylesti requires high stats in Health and Agility. Therefore, this list includes all of the Fabled Sylestis and some of the Normal Sylestis that, I think, would make the best tanks.

Please note that these sylestis are sorted in alphabetical order beneath their species category: Normal Sylestis and Fabled Sylestis.

So, after listing all that information, you can see that there is no fully tank creature that just stands there and gets beat up, while its teammates cover the flanking positions. Also, you will see that sylestis do not have the same total stat amounts. So, some sylesti species are numerically better than others. This is further complicated for wild sylestis, wherein they have an additional stat ranking system for individuals of their species, which is indicated by the number of its stars before capturing it.

One Star = Weak Sylesti = Low Stats
Two Stars = Common Sylesti = Average Stats
Three Stars = Superior Sylesti = High Stats for a captured sylesti, but lower than a Regular Generated Sylesti.
Four Stars = Elite Sylesti = Stats similar or equal to a Generated Sylesti
Five Stars = Boss Sylesti = Has the Stats similar to an Enhanced Sylesti

All of this means that there is no correct answer for your question. If you designate a Tank, then try to have its best two base stats in Health and Agility. Other than that, there isn't really a best Tank Sylesti, except for maybe the Luffox and the Griffi.

Any sylesti can be used as a tank. You just need to look at its base stats. Some people build tanks differently, but most tanks have a focus on Agility and Health.

Some users breed sylesti to have high stats. This is done by hatching and breeding multiple generations of sylesti with the help of Prismatic Philters or regular philters. These high stat sylesti can be any species. Most are fairly expensive, but some users will cut you a deal if you ask nicely.

By stat breeding, a sylesti can have max stats of 100 base in each stat & 2000 base health. Most max stat sylesti cost at least 100k. The price will be even higher if the sylesti is pretty or a purebred.
