When I encounter pets in battle I can't figure out how to see if they are male or female. I was wanting to capture a female of a specific breed but I caught one and it said male when I viewed it in my stable.. help please. Also i'm trying to figure out value of pets. I have a couple I want to open to breeding but I have absolutely no idea what a fair price would be and I know the traits add value, would anyone mind offering an outline for selling and breeding prices?

Most species have a distinct pose for each gender. The males are usually more tough or solidly posed, whereas the females are usually more demure or cute.

You can always have the generator open in another tab, at least till you can recognize the differences.

As far as pricing goes, it's mostly up to you. Rarer pets and pets with more traits are likely to be worth more than those with less or none. You can always try making them less or more expensive if you're not earning enough or not getting any bites.
