I was curious, is it necessary to include released and unnamed offspring on a pet's lineage page? My pairs have quite a few unnamed offspring that were released because I had no intention of selling them. I don't care if I never see them again. Would it be possible to just include named offspring on the lineage page or at least make it optional? Thanks.

I would rather have it optional, i like being able to see un named children for a couple reasons.
If I sell pet to someone, they don't name it, and start to miss use it *re doing my project for anyone for profit* I couldn't see them mis handling a pet.
I still like being able to see offspring even if it is released for the fact that's one of the only ways I can see if I want to re claim a pet.
And as NightbaneWolf said, that is their child like it or not :P

I would like an option to not show released pets, but given that I'm terrible for not naming my pets... I'd still like to be able to see the un-named babies lol

I agree with not showing released pets but showing un-named ones. Some of my best, most valuable and most treasured pets have a terrible looking lineage because they've been used for projects so they've had tonnes of babies and the majority have been released and that makes me quite sad. It's hard to balance the dynamics of a breeding game and a game where you want your favourite pets to have concise lineages. It'd be nice for there to be a separate tab for released offspring maybe.

I will support if it's optional.
Like carrotbae said, sometimes I may consider reclaiming a pet to help the project go along faster. Then it will be useful to see the released pets in the lineages as well.
But when I'm looking through other people's pets to see if they have any offspring with the traits I want, it would be useful to filter out those that were released, cause I'm not likely to offer to pay for the reclaiming fee on top of the sale/breeding fee in this case.
For unnamed filtering, I don't usually name my pets, so I'll definitely want to see those. But I also know quite some players would find filtering out unnamed easier as they name those they want to use.
