Since big cats like lions and tigers and so on have been introduced to the Vulnyx to have new genes when they breed, they succeeded and released the Vulnyx's where all released into the wild, but the ones that crossbred with the Lynx have dwindled by a thread due to poaching, loss of food and since they lived in the desert they would die of starvation or dehydration and killed by other predators, and get hit by a car. But the Desert Wildlife Sanctuary have caught a number of animals and put radio collars to track them. They hoped to make the Lynx Vulnyx population grow by catching them, then tracking them, then monitor their activity. There are other Vulnyx that have the Lynx gene but not the ones that have the ears,tail and pattern, they called them the 'Pure Lynx'.

"KINA WAIT, YOU HAVE TO STOP!!!" Kitty yelled to her sister Kina as she chased a rabbit. "YOUR HEADING TOWARDS THE ROAD!!!" Kitty felt her lungs scream at her. Kina pounced at the rabbit and missed, she was in the middle of the flat hard sand road. Suddenly s revving noise felled her ears, it was a truck. "LOOK OUT!!!" Kitty bolted and saw her Kina look to her left and saw the truck heading towards her, she screeched in fear and Kitty saw Kina go underneath the truck and head a BUMP. the truck stopped and a human hopped out and saw Kina, it took out one of those square, funny sounding things (phone). "Hello Desert Animal Sanctuary, I just ran over a Lynx Vulnyx and, oh god" the human welded into tears, Kitty gave a whimper and felt tears weld in her eyes. the human heard her and spoke again into the square thing, "Wait there is a cub here, can you get here as fast a possibly, it looks like it can't move" he tapped the square thing and in a few minutes another truck came and two humans came out with a cage and took Kitty to the so called Sanctuary.

Kitty woke from her dream, it seemed so real. her sister Kina was hit by that truck 2 years ago, Kitty remembered it all. Kina treasured Kitty since they where sisters, but Kina was older. Kitty wished she stopped her then broke into tears, then went outside her den. she knew the Sanctuary, they helped her then released her. she thanked them, but still felt depressed

Kitty looked up at the sky and watched birds soar over the skies, Kitty lived near in a cave of the Crooked Hill which had many rocks and could easily jump to them, they covered the hill they. Kitty lived there and she knew the desert, it scorched in the day and cool in the night. She knew it all but she would wish Kina was still wit her to hunt and be there, Kitty never went near the road, it scared her of that day
