I tried this once before a long time ago and decided that I would do another round if it.

Modern day Sylestia. Small towns have grown into cities and technology is common place. Tales are told of the legendary old days and the threats that faced the land. Now a new threat is arising. A chain of events is set in motion, spurred by an ancient prophesy.

On the horizon rides great danger,
The blood kin of the heroes past must guard the future.
Evil and darkness march closer all the while,
Hearts will be proven in coming time of trail
Heroes greater than ancient weapons have ever been,
Will turn the tide with the treasures found within.

Now it is up to a new generation to decode the hidden message and save their world, with the help of their trusty sylesties of course.

4. Be civil to the other Rpers.
5. Please do not post more than 2 or 3 times a day. Not all of us can be on the site all day and it helps the RP if everyone can keep up.

Sylesties. (I will allow a team of five for now as I plan to add some special sylesties that each hero will get later in the RP. I will post a list of suggestions and will also accept suggestions for the designs for these particular sylesties. If the thread lasts until the end of the story line then I will generate or breed the sylesti for each player as a reward.)

Here is my character.

Name: Matthew Starr

Age: 26

Appearance: Short red hair with blue eyes and fair skin. Average height and athletic build. Wears a white shirt with a blue vest and black pants with brown shoes, trench coat and fedora.

Occupation: Private Detective.

Personality. Adventurous, brave, intelligent, and loves to tease. He is a bit of a rascal with a strong independent nature. He tends to do things his own way and resents people trying to force him to do otherwise. While he mostly works alone, and seems to be more of a lone wolf, win his respect and trust and you will have no more loyal friend. He is rarely serious even when facing a tough opponent.

Skills: He is very observant and good at putting clues together. He is a fair hand at martial arts, boxing and general fisticuffs. Although he enjoys outwitting his opponents just as much. He is good a chemistry and stealth.

Sylesties: currently only his Qitari Bluestar.

Special sylesti list. Each slyesti will only have one or two traits per generated slyesti and bred will possibly have more depending on how far I get with the project by the time the RPG storyline ends.

Each sylesti is based on a special quality.

Appearance: Ryder has long, dark, thick, redish-brown hair, fair skin, and dark green eyes. A light dusting of freckles adorn her face, and a black armband like tattoo around her upper left arm. She usually wears fitted ink black stretchy jeans, a dark green t-shirt, and dark brown leather like combat boots. A small elaborately carved silver pocket watch hangs from a non matching silver chain around her neck.
Occupation: A thief, but will take the odd, legal, job here and there.
Personality: Fiery, fierce, calm, collected, shy, witty, sly, sarcastic, mean, nice, calm, wild. If ever there was an enigma Ryder would be it. She has a mean humor and loves sarcasm. When on a job she can be as calm and patient as a predator stalking its prey. However, when not on a job she can be extremely impatient and occasionally aggressive. Never one to back down from a challenge she takes risks, not always that calculated. She can be withdrawn when in unfamiliar territory, or with unfamiliar people she doesn't really trust. But once you have earned her trust and or friendship she is wild, fun, and fiercely loyal. With a glare that could kill, she could write the book on how to make enemy's.
Skills: Speed, agility, slight of hand, competency at using a knife, climbing, moving unseen and unheard, making enemy's.

Whaty what?

Easiest way to post the picture is to right click and then go to copy image location ( not just copy image). Then when posting click the image button at the top of the screen where all the font stuff is. Place your cursor in between the two sets of parenthesis and right click then paste. For non internet pictures go to the help forums and you can find info on how to do that and other tasks there.

I think I'll stick with tinypic. Also, I think I'll change Tori Duchannes to Tori Hampton, Ridley's last name just doesn't fit her, especially because it's pronounced Du-kay-yanes. I think. How many people are needed to start?

Hopefully I will start us off late tomorrow or Monday. I just need to finish the pet designs I have been working on for the special sylesties.
