A lot of times, when I refresh or go to a new page, firefox will ask if I want to stop the script due to it freezing up the page. It's for the messaging system. I don't know why it's doing this, but it's starting to really bother me.

If you ignore this warning, does the service continue to function? Or is it actually breaking and not working?

Either way, CometChat is a 3rd party service that we can't really do anything about - it's just integrated into our Site. So I can't really investigate and try to solve the issue. =\

So far it keeps working if I ignore it...but it can freeze up my browser for a bit .-.

The best I can advise is to just make sure your browser is up to date and that you don't have a pop up blocker or anything tampering with the Site's scripts.

Other than that, the only other thing I can say is to try another browser if all else fails.

I can't debug CometChat so there's nothing that I can do on our end. =\
