i've gotten staff's , tiaras, a leo's tail , and things like that
i clicked on one of the items > the tiara < and clicked "use item" but the item disappeared, it didn't appear on my avatar or transfer to my equipment. i don't get it please help - am i doing something wrong?

It will have moved to your Wardrobe (you can find it under Account). You'll need to locate the item in the Wardrobe, click on it and then save your new avatar design (similar to what you did to get you current avatar) :)
