If you have special spices, what happens to them if you don't use them before the festival ends? Do they disapear to can you use them next year?

To be clear I'm talking about the spices to make the pets, not the ingredients.

you can use them next year, they stay in your inventory

The spices that I kept from last year turned into old spices. I could exchange them for 2 frost tokens each. Oh oops, you meant the spice extractors. Yes, for the spice extractors, ShadowKitten is absolutely correct.

Extractors will stay until next year but the spices go "stale" and cannot be used to make sylesti. They get turned into a usable item (like a mission satchel) which you redeem for a few frost tokens. (I had a STOCKPILE of spices and ingredients from last year I just did this with).
