So I went up to her, then decided to leave and suddenly I saw this in the log:
[06:02:50 PM] You have found a Mother Frost. What do you wish to do?
[06:02:52 PM] You interact with the Traveling Merchant.
[06:02:58 PM] You decide to continue exploring the area.
[06:02:58 PM] You decide to continue exploring the area.

Lol. You found a Mother Frost.
It's because all NPCs (non battle ones) are technically labeled as Traveling Merchants in the code.
I'll take a look and see if I can make this more proper. =P
