We have released a brand new feature to Sylestia: Pet Costumes!
As time has gone on, it has become harder and harder to release intricate mutations for pets that are full "costumes". This is mainly due to the difficulties in layering things appropriately as well as a full costume pretty much will always cover most of a pet's genes. A prime example of this is the Cyberpunk Armor for Ryoris.
As such, we felt this dilemma opened the door for a brand new feature to solve this issue: pet costumes!
Pet Costumes are equip-able items to your pets that will overwrite their Mutations while the costume is equipped. Simply remove the costume and the Mutations will return. Here is an example:
When equipped, my pet's Mutations are hidden and the costume is displayed instead. I can then just simply unequip the costume and my pet will return to his normal look.
Additionally, Pet Costumes are purely cosmetic. When a costume is equipped, a pet will pass along its genetic traits as normal - its actual mutations will not be affected!
In essence, Pet Costumes will allow us to offer a much wider variety of looks for pets that can easily be swapped in and out. We also hope everyone will enjoy the opportunity to literally dress their pets up in a variety of costumes. Additionally, this feature will allow us to keep mutations more focused on actual body parts (horns, wings, etc) and not full body outfits that clash with or cover up the majority of the pet.
To begin, we have released the following Pet Costumes:

[Griffi Costume: Father Winter's Helper]
[Qitari Costume: Father Winter's Helper]
[Sylvorpa Costume: Father Winter's Helper]
[Vulnyx Costume: Father Winter's Helper]
[Zolnixi Costume: Father Winter's Helper]
Pet Costumes can be purchased from the Diamond Shop in the Pet Costumes category.
Additionally, in celebration of this new feature, today's Advent Calendar Prize is the [Griffi Costume: Father Winter's Helper]!

This is awesome! I've always loved dressing my cats up with doll clothes,a and now i can dress up my sylestis :D thank you!

Oh how cute...
Probably jumping the gun a little here but - would custom costumes be possible in the future? Because I think it'd be super fun to create some.
